◆ For right-handed use, slide out the guide located at the

◆ To switch on, slide the switch (1) into position I.
◆ To switch off, slide the switch (1) into position 0.
Hints for optimum use
The laser line also provides support in surface layout of
materials and/or objects at equal distances (fig. E).
Cleaning and maintenance
Your tool has been designed to operate over a long period of
time with a minimum of maintenance. Continuous satisfactory
operation depends upon proper tool care and regular cleaning.
◆ To clean the tool, use only mild soap and a damp cloth.
Never let any liquid get inside the tool and never immerse
any part of the tool into liquid.
Checking and calibrating the laser head (fig. D)
The laser head (2) is factory-adjusted and does not require
adjustment before first use.
However, if the tool has received rough treatment during use,
and the laser line is out of alignment, the laser head can be
calibrated as follows.
◆ Place the tool close to the square corner of a worktop.
Place the tool flush to the edge of the worktop using the
edge guide.
◆ Check that the laser line aligns with the square edge.
◆ If adjustment is required, proceed as follows:
◆ Turn the screw (8) in or out as necessary, until the laser
line aligns with the square edge.
