Read this manual thoroughly before first use and keep it in a safe place for future
reference, along with the completed warranty card, purchase receipt and carton.
The safety precautions enclosed herein reduce the risk of fire, electric shock and
injury when correctly adhered to.
To protect against fire and electric shock:
Do not immerse the cord, plug or the surge powerboard in water or other
liquid, or expose the electrical connections to water or other liquid.
If the surge powerboard or cord is damaged, contact the After Sales Support
line for advice (see contact details at the bottom of this page). Do not
attempt to open the board or replace the cord. The cord must be replaced by
appropriately qualified personnel.
Run the power supply cord in such a way that there will be no risk of anyone
accidentally pulling it or tripping over it.
The equipment is not intended for use by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction by a
person responsible for their safety.
Young children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the
equipment. Close supervision is always necessary when any appliance is
used by or near children.
This surge powerboard is designed for indoor use in dry places only.
Do not exceed a maximum loading of 2400 watts.
For safety reasons, always use earth connections.
Only use this surge powerboard with the power supply cord fully unwound.
Cleaning and Maintenance
Unplug this product from the mains supply before cleaning it. Do not allow water
to enter inside. To clean the unit, wipe the outside surface with a soft dry cloth.
Storage and Disposal
If you do not plan to use the product for extended periods of time, it is
recommended that it is unplugged from the supply and stored in a cool, dry
place.
Do not dispose of electrical products with household waste. Please check with
your local council for advice on disposal or recycling. If electrical appliances
are disposed of in landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the
groundwater and get into the food chain, damaging your health and wellbeing.

To keep the warranty valid, never try to repair the system yourself. If you
encounter problems when using this unit, check the following points before
requesting service.
Troubleshooting
Problem Solution
My connected devices
won’t switch on.
Check you have turned on the MASTER
device first, otherwise the AUTO ON/OFF
devices will not receive power.
Check the MASTER device draws more
than 10W, and has been switched on before
attempting to operate any devices connected
to the AUTO ON/OFF outlets.
My device won’t
automatically switch off.
Check that this is plugged into an outlet
marked AUTO ON/OFF. Wait for about 30
seconds after switching off your MASTER
device to see if the power is automatically
cut.
Everything connected to
my powerboard is not
receiving power.
The overload may have tripped for your
safety. Disconnect all connected devices and
remove the powerboard from the wall outlet.
Press the black reset button until it clicks.
Reconnect the powerboard, following the
instructions. Make sure that you do not draw
more than 2400W though the powerboard.
My wireless router
or PVR recorder or
telephone keeps turning
off.
Devices that require constant power such
as routers, PVR’s or telephones should be
plugged into the ALWAYS ON socket. If
they are plugged into AUTO/OFF they will
automatically turn off when the MASTER
device is turned off.

Repair and Refurbished
Goods or Parts Notice
Unfortunately, from time to time, faulty products are manufactured which need to be
returned to the supplier for repair.
Please be aware that if your product is capable of retaining user-generated data
(such as files stored on a computer hard drive, telephone numbers stored on a
mobile telephone, songs stored on a portable media player, games saved on a games
console or files stored on a USB memory stick) during the process of repair, some or
all of your stored data may be lost. We recommend you save this data elsewhere
prior to sending the product for repair.
You should also be aware that rather than repairing goods, we may replace them
with refurbished goods of the same type or use refurbished parts in the repair process.
Please be assured though, refurbished parts or replacements are only used
where they meet ALDI’s stringent quality specifications.
If at any time you feel your repair is being handled unsatisfactorily, you may escalate
your complaint. Please telephone us on 1300 886 649 or write to us at:
