Electric Hydraulic Power Assisted Steering
(EHPAS)
Provides greater steering assistance at lower
speeds for easier parking, while reducing the
level of power assist at higher speeds for more
precise steering. Switchable between Standard,
Comfort and Sport modes. (Standard with 1.6,
1.8 and 2.0 Duratorq TDCi; 1.8, 2.0 and 2.5
Duratec petrol engines)
Ford PowerShift transmission
New Ford PowerShift advanced dual-clutch gearbox combines the ease of an automatic transmission
with the responsiveness of a manual. What really sets it apart is its ability to shift gears almost
seamlessly and without interrupting the drive of the engine. This eliminates the usual conflict between
sportiness, convenience and economy, leaving you to enjoy an uncompromised driving experience.
