Purpose

• For all overlock and cover stitches.

• For general sewing applications with facilitated fabric feed.

• For easy guiding of the material when sewing small rounded shapes and

curves.

Application

Sewing Rounded Shapes and Curves

The narrow design and the shorter length of the foot sole allow maneu-

verable sewing of small rounded shapes and curves.

> Set the desired stitch according to the stitch overview.

> Reduce the stitch length for small rounded shapes and curves. (Fig.2)

Positioning the Fabric while Sewing

> Stop sewing.

> Lower the needles.

> Slightly raise the presser foot.

> Flatten the sewing material as much as possible in front of and behind the

needle.

> Lower the presser foot and continue sewing. (Fig.3)

Tip

> In order to enable precise work, the knife can be deactivated for small

curves and for the 3-thread overlock stitch narrow (RN).
