Coaxial 15mm/22mm gas output port
Two versions of the gas output port (1) are installed on
840 Ventilators:
• The older (silver) version, suitable for 22mm ISO connections only.
• The current (black) version, a coaxial 15mm/22mm port, suitable
for 22mm or 15mm/22mm ISO connections, including the
NeoMode patient circuit.
To accommodate 15mm/22mm ISO connectors, a ventilator with
silver gas output port must be serviced to install the current (black)
version. To update a gas output port, contact your qualified
Covidien service representative.
