GAS DUPLEX™ COOKER
SPECIFICATIONS:
Combination gas and electric two sided duplex cooker, Vulcan-
Hart model no. GDC _________. Base griddle unit has stainless
steel front, sides, back splashers and 4" legs. (24")(36")(48")
(60")(72") wide 1" thick steel griddle plate is machine ground
and polished. Spatula width front grease trough feeds into two
removable side mounted stainless steel grease collectors.
30,000 BTU/hr. input for each 12" of griddle width. Electronic pilot
ignition. One solid state temperature control for each 12" of griddle
width. Step-down transformer provided for control circuit. Gas
pressure regulator and manual gas shut-off valve.
Top cooking platens located in position(s) (specify from left to
right: A, B, C, D, E, F). Counter balanced lift assists hold each
individual plate in the “UP” position when raised. Each platen has
a removable cooking shoe with a non-stick cooking surface. (2
KW, 208 volt, 1 or 3 phase) (2.67 KW, 240 volt, 1 or 3 phase) input
per platen. One solid state temperature control for each top
platen. Step-down transformer provided for control circuit.

GENERAL INFORMATION: Vulcan duplex cookers combine a
flat griddle surface with a swing-down heated top platen to provide
two sided cooking. Griddles are available in 24", 36", 48", 60" and
72" widths. Top platens have a removable cooking shoe with a
non-stick cooking surface. Top platens may be specified over any
portion or all of the griddle plate.
