Introduction

The 36" extension bars replace the longer or shorter

length rails on the Model D2058A Super Heavy-Duty Mobile

Base. The extension bars are suitable for heavy and long

machines such as jointers, bandsaws, wide belt and drum

sanders, lathes (see Figure 1), or heavy workbenches.

Assembly

Follow the instructions that came with your Model D2058A

mobile base for preparing and assembling the mobile

base, except replace the longer or shorter rails with the

extension bars.

Assembling Base Around Machine

Follow all of the applicable steps in the Model D2058A

instructions for assembling the D2058A around the

machine, then substitute the extension bars for either the

shorter or longer pair of rails.

Mounting Machine and Using Mobile Base

with Extension Bars

Follow all applicable steps outlined in the D2058A manual

for mounting and using the machine, and heed all

warnings to reduce the risk of serious injury.
