INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
LED ASTRO RUNNING LIGHT
The JDL4-ASTRO/JDL6-ASTRO is a new version of a popular light eect which includes dierent colored LED
modules (Red, Green, Blue, White, Yellow or Purple). Each LED module has a reector and one LED. They light
up one after the other, thus creating a running light eect.

Safety Recommendations
• Please read the instructions carefully. They contain important information about the installation, operation
and maintenance.
• Keep this User Manual for future reference. If you sell the unit to another user, be sure that he also receives
this instruction booklet.
• Unpack and check the unit carefully that it has not been damaged during transport before using the unit.
• Before operating, ensure that the voltage and frequency of power supply match the power requirements of
the unit.
• The unit is for indoor use only in a dry location.
• The unit must be installed in a location with adequate ventilation, at least 0.5m from adjacent surfaces. Be
sure that no ventilation slots are blocked.
• Disconnect mains power before fuse replacement or servicing.
• Make sure there are no inammable materials close to the unit during operation.
• In the event of serious operating problem, stop using the unit immediately.
• Never try to repair the unit by yourself. Repair carried out by unskilled people can lead to damage or malfu-
nction. Please contact the nearest authorized technical assistance center and always use the same type of
spare parts.
• Do not touch any wires during operation as high voltage might be causing electric shock.
• The product is for decorative purposes only and not suitable as a household room illumination.
DISCONNECT DEVICE
Where the MAINS plug or an appliance coupler is used as the disconnect device, the disconnect device shall
remain readily operable.

Operation
• Plug the supplied mains adaptor into an appropriate mains outlet and the DC socket on the rear panel of the
unit.
• Set the I/O button to ON switch the unit on.
• Set the SPEED or MUSIC function via the 2 front mounted controls.
• To activate the running light function, rotate the MUSIC button counterclockwise to the start position and set
the ash speed via the SPEED control.
• The music-controlled mode is activated via the left control. The modules react now to the rythm of the music.
Set the mic sensitivity via the MUSIC button. The modules ash now according to the sound intensity close to
the microphone.
• After use, switch the unit o via the I/O button.

Care
Before cleaning the unit, disconnect it if from the mains. Do not use aggressive cleaning agents. Use a clean
cloth to wipe any dust or dirt from the product. We are not liable for damage arising from incorrect handing,
improper use or wear and tear. We reserve the right to make technical modications.

Le JDL4-ASTRO/JDL6-ASTRO est une nouvelle version d’un eet de lumière populaire qui comprends plusieurs
modules à LED de couleur (rouge, vert, bleu, blanc, jaune ou pourpre). Chaque module à LED comporte un
réecteur et une LED. Ils s’allument les uns après les autres, créant ainsi un eet chenillard.

Consignes de Sécurité
• Lire attentivement les consignes de sécurité qui contiennent des informations importantes concernant l’instal-
lation, le fonctionnement et la maintenance
• Conservez ce manuel pour référence ultérieure. Si vous vendez l’appareil à un autre utilisateur, assurez-vous
qu’il reçoit également le mode d’emploi.
• Dès réception de l’appareil, ouvrez le carton et vériez que le contenu est complet et en bon état.
• L’appareil doit être alimenté uniquement par l’adaptateur secteur fourni.
• Uniquement pour utilisation à l’intérieur à un endroit sec !
• Installez l’appareil à un endroit bien ventilé à une distance minimum de 0,5m de toute surface. Assurez-vous
que les fentes de ventilation ne sont pas bloquées.
• Débranchez l’appareil du secteur avant toute manipulation ou entretien.
• Vériez qu’aucun matériau inammable ne se trouve à proximité de l’eet pendant le fonctionnement.
• En cas de dysfonctionnement, arrêtez immédiatement l’appareil et débranchez-le du secteur.
• N’essayez jamais de réparer l’appareil par vous-même. Une réparation mal faite peut entraîner des dom-
mages et des dysfonctionnements. Contactez un service technique agréé. Utilisez uniquement des pièces
détachées identiques aux pièces d’origine.
