SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
• Before using your appliance for the
first time, carefully read these
recommendations and follow the
appliance’s instructions for use.
Correct operation of this appliance,
your safety and that of those around
you depend on this.
• Before plugging the appliance into the
electrical outlet, make sure that the
power that your appliance uses
corresponds to your electrical supply
system. Otherwise, you could damage
the appliance or hurt yourself. Any error
in connection will cancel the
warrantee.
• This product has been designed for
domestic use only. Any commercial
use, inappropriate use or failure to
comply with the instructions, the
manufacturer accepts no responsibility
and the guarantee will not apply.
• To avoid electric shocks, never use the
appliance with wet hands or on a wet
or moist surface. Avoid getting the
appliance’s electrical components wet
and never immerse it in water.
• To avoid accidents, this product should
never be used by a child or by anyone
who has not read the instructions.
• This appliance is not designed for use
by persons (including children) whose
physical, sensorial or mental capacities
are reduced, or by persons with a lack
of experience or knowledge, unless
they receive supervision or prior
instructions concerning the
appliance’s use from a person
responsible for their safety.
• Be sure to watch over children to
ensure that they do not play with the
appliance.
• Always unplug the appliance when
you have finished using it, when you
clean it or if there is a power outage.
• Do not use the appliance if it is not
working properly, if it has been
damaged or if the power cord or plug
is damaged. To avoid all danger, you
must have them replaced by an
authorised service centre (see the list in
the service booklet).
• All interventions other than cleaning
and everyday upkeep by the customer
must be performed by an authorised
service centre.
• Do not immerse the appliance, power
cord or plug in any liquid.
• Do not leave the power cord hanging
within reach of children, close to or in
contact with the hot parts of the
appliance, near a source of heat or at
a sharp angle. Use the cord winder for
storage.
• To keep the appliance’s guarantee and
avoid any technical problem, never try
to disassemble or repair the appliance
yourself and do not let any unqualified
person do so. Take the appliance to an
authorised service centre.
• Never move or unplug the appliance
by pulling on the power cord so as not
to degrade the appliance’s operation
and to avoid all risks of accident.
• Using parts and accessories not
recommended by the manufacturer
may result in bodily injury, damage to
the appliance, lead to poor operation
and negate the guarantee,
• To avoid electric shocks, make sure that
your fingers do not come into contact
with the prongs on the plug when
plugging in or unplugging the
appliance.
• Do not leave the appliance running or
plugged in when unsupervised, even
for a few minutes, especially if children
are present.
• Do not plug other appliances into the
same power outlet using adapters to
avoid electrical overloads which could
damage the appliance or cause
accidents. Do not use an extension
cord until you have verified it is in good
condition.
