INSTALLATION GUIDELINES

These basic installation guidelines are for use with typical or standard applications. It is always recommended to seek advice from a licensed

professional, and to check with your local building inspector or building permit office for approvals and possible variations that may apply.

When working with sheet metal, gloves and eye protection are absolutely required.

Prepare your edge: Using a straight-edge spade or edging

shovel, cut a vertical wall to dene the edge.

Place Lawn Edge sections, hem side up, against the wall,

holding them loosely in place with U-Shaped Lawn Edge Clips

spaced 24 inches apart.

Hammer or press the Lawn Edge to the desired height,

usually 1/2 inch below the lowest mower height.

Secure the Lawn Edge by hammering the Lawn Edge Clips

down to rmly meet the top of the Lawn Edge. After the clips

are secure, backll with soil and/or mulch.

Steel Lawn Edge can be bent in place for smooth owing curves.

If a 90° or sharp angle is required, bend the lawn edge using a brake or a piece of 2x6 dimensional lumber.

To splice lengths of Lawn Edge together, overlap at least 6 inches and secure with 2 Lawn Edge Clips.

Lawn Edge can be cut to length with a hacksaw or angle grinder equipped with a cut-o disk.
