NOTE: Height of xture must be adjusted before xture is
mounted to ceiling.
1) To adjust the length of the cord [A] and cable[B], push
up on the cable to achieve the desired height of the
mounted xture. Carefully pull cord up into canopy to
shorten the height of xture or carefully pull cord down
to lengthen the height of xture unl the desired height
is achieved.
2) Find the appropriate threaded holes on mounng
strap[E]. Assemble mounng screws[F] into threaded
holes.
3) Aach mounng strap to outlet box[G] using the strap
mounng screws[C]. Mounng strap can be adjusted to
suit posion of xture.
4) Grounding instrucons: (See Illus. a or b).
a) On xtures where mounng strap is provided with a
hole and two raised dimples, wrap ground wire from
outlet box around green ground screw, and thread
into hole.
b) On xtures where a cupped washer is provided,
aach ground wire from outlet box under cupped
washer and green ground screw, then thread into
mounng strap.
If xture is provided with ground wire, connect xture
ground wire to outlet box ground wire with wire
connector (Not provided) aer following the above steps.
Never connect ground wire to black or white power
supply wires.
5) Make wire connecon. Reference chart below for correct
connecons and wire accordingly.

*Note: When parallel wire (SPT
1 & SPT 2) are used. The neutral
wire is square shaped or ridged
and the other wire will be round
in shape or smooth (See illus.)

6) Raise xture to ceiling, carefully passing mounng screws
through holes in canopy [D]. Make sure all wires are
inside canopy and do not get pinched between canopy
and ceiling.
7) Slip lockwashers[H] on mounng screws and thread
lockup knobs[I] onto mounng screws. Tighten to secure
xture to ceiling.
8) Take the four (4) boards[J], [K], [L], [M], and aach
them to the main body[O] using the screws[N] as shown.
Note that the boards can be installed in any order.

specicaons. If you are not familiar with code requirements,
installaon by a cered electrician is recommended.

INSTRUCTIONS:
For Assembling and Installing Fixtures in Canada
Pour L’assemblage et L’installaon Au Canada
REMARQUE: la hauteur du montage doit être réglée avant
que le montage ne soit monté au plafond.
1) Pour régler la longueur du cordon [A] et du câble [B],
poussez sur le câble pour aeindre la hauteur désirée
de l’appareil monté. Rerez délicatement le cordon dans
le canopée pour raccourcir la hauteur de l’appareil ou
rerez soigneusement le cordon pour allonger la hauteur
du luminaire jusqu’à ce que la hauteur désirée soit
aeinte.
2) Trouver les trous letés appropriés sur la barree de
montage[E]. Vissez les vis de montage[F] dans les trous
letés.
3) À l’aide des vis de l’étrier de montage[C], visser la
barree de montage à la boite de joncon[G]. La
barree de montage peut etre ajustée pour convenir à la
posion de le luminaire.
4) Connecter les ls. Se reporter au tableau ci-dessous pour
faire les connexions.

*Remarque: Avec emploi d’un
l paralléle (SPT 1 et SPT 2). Le
l neutre est á angles droits ou
strié et l’autre l doit étre rond
ou lisse (Voir le schéma).

5) Soulevez le luminaire au plafond, en passant
soigneusement les vis de montage dans les trous dans
le canopée [D]. Assurez-vous que tous les ls sont à
l’intérieur de la canopée et ne pas être pincés entre la
canopée et le plafond.
6) Glisser les rondelles de verrouillage[H] sur les vis de
montage et les boutons de verrouillage [I] du lsur les vis
de montage. Serrer pour xer le luminaire au plafond.
7) Prenez les quatre (4) planches [J], [K], [L], [M], et xez-
les au corps principal [O] en ulisant les vis [N] comme
illustré. Notez que les planches peuvent être installées
dans n’importe quel ordre.

Couper le courant au niveau du panneau du disjoncteur du
circuit principal ou de la boîte à fusibles principale avant de
procéder à l’installaon.

spécicaons des codes locaux. Si vous ne connaissez pas
les exigences de ces codes, il est recommandé de coner
