Thank you for purchasing the Sytech SY-BV5 Electric table Blender. In order to fully benefit from this product,
please follow the instructions in this user manual very carefully. Store this user manual in a safe place for future
reference.
Important Safeguards
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed,
including the following:
1. Read all instructions before operating.
2. Check if the voltage indicated on the base of the appliance corresponds to the local
mains voltage before you connect the appliance.
3. Do not touch hot surfaces. Use handles or knobs.
4. To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse cord, plug or appliance itself in
water or other liquids.
5. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced
physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless
they have been given supervision or instructions concerning use of the appliance by a
person responsible for their safety.
6. Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.
7. Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance
malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner. Return the appliance to the
nearest authorized service facility for examination, repair or adjustment.
8. Make sure all the parts are correctly mounted before you switch on the appliance.
9. Never reach into the feeding tube with your fingers or an object while the appliance is
running. Only the pusher is to be used for this purpose.
10. Do not remove the pulp container when the appliance is in operation.
11. The water temperature should not be over 60ºC when cleaning the unit.
12. The blender should not run for longer than 2 minutes. After each minute’s use,
the blender should be allowed to cool for at least 1 minute. This can be
repeated 10 times before further use. The appliance must be left to cool to room
temperature.
13. Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow to cool before putting
on or taking off parts.
14. The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer
may cause injuries.
15. Do not use outdoors.
16. Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or touch hot surfaces.
17. Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner, or in a heated oven.
18. Always attach plug to appliance first, then plug cord into wall outlet. To disconnect,
turn any control to OFF position, then remove plug from wall outlet.
19. Oversized foods or metal utensils must not be inserted in the appliance as they may
cause a fire or risk of electrical shock.
20. Do not use the appliance if the rotating sieve is damaged.
