ribbonsforeasyremoval.

andpressdownuntilyouhearitsnap

closed.

Whenevertheradioisturnedoff,thebattery

indicatorwillflashforaboutfivesecondsto

showbatterycondition.

Iftheindicatorfallsbelow#2,the4MAIN

"D"sizebatteriesshouldbereplaced.

NOTE

Whenthe"MAIN'batteriesbecomeex-

hausted,themicro-processorwillautoma-

ticallybepoweredbythe"BACK-UP"

batteries.

Whenthedisplayonthemicro-processor

beginstofade,replacethe3"AA"batteries

inthe"BACK-UP"circuit.Duringbattery

replacementmakesuretheLockSwitch(26)

isinthelockedposition().Thiswill

preventanymemorypresetsfrombeinglost

duringthebatteryreplacement.Battery

replacementshouldbecompletedwithin2

minutes.

ThereceivermaybepoweredbyACcurrent

usingtheACadaptor(notincluded).Insert

thesmallbarrelshapedplugintothejackon

thesideoftheradiomarked"DCIN6V".

Plugtheotherendoftheadaptorintoa

standardhouseholdoutlet.WheneverAC

isused,thebatteriesareautomatically

disconnected.
