A wireless router, 2.4Ghz WiFi b/g/n, always connected to Internet, would be best if it supports WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup).
If WPS is not supported by your router, please take note of the home wireless network name (SSID) and its PASSWORD,
they will be required during the installation process.
The SAID number, which is placed on a sticker on the edge of appliance’s door and is displayed in a menu of the appliance.
Please copy the SAID number from the sticker to the table below.
SAID:

Before starting the installation process, please verify that the wireless signal of your home router is reaching the appliance.
Use a computer, tablet or smartphone connected only to the Wi-Fi router. Place the device close to the appliance and open
any internet web page in a browser and check that it is downloaded fast and correctly. If the internet connection of your
home is working correctly but the page is not downloaded, you may need to install a Wi-Fi extender device (not provided
with the appliance).
NOTE:
Once the installation process is comple-
ted, you can monitor the functions of your
appliances. To enable the remote control
close the door and press the button,
the indicator will light up, then you can send

Troubleshooting
How to make sure that the home Internet connection works?
Customer can check Internet Connection with tablet/smartphone (or others HAN devices as: computer and notebook).
How to make sure that your wireless functionality is on?
1) Customer can check connection with tablet/smartphone (or others HAN portable devices).
2) Customer can use a PC or smartphone to search for a network and see if his network is visible.
3) Appliance UI: Verify Wi-Fi icon state is stable ON and for the appliances with
button please active the remote control
(LED
ON).
How to nd your wireless NETWORK name and password?
See Customer Router documentation.
Suggestions: Sometime using “http://IP number of the router the customer can access to the router setup from a connected device.
A router label usually reports login information to reach the device setup page using a connected device (PC or tablet).
How to restore the Appliance connection to the App after a home network setup change?
First step: erase the previous setup from the appliance (un-provisioning)
Dishwasher: press
button for about 10 sec to hear the 3rd beep to erase the previous setup.
Second step: provisioning appliance (repeat the installation procedure as reported on page 2).
How to set up the wireless connection on your appliance?
See detailed instruction for detail, there are two alternative approach on each appliance:
1) use the WPS (Wi-Fi Protected Setup) connection process,
2) If the appliance is not Provisioned, in the rst 20 minutes from appliance switch on it is active a web page for conguration accessible
through the network generated by the appliance (WP_”MAC Address”, example WP_88_E7_12_00_28_3C).
Which Version of WPS is supported?
Appliance supports WPS 2.0 or higher. Please, check the router documentation.
How to check if data is being transmitted?
After network set power o, wait 20 sec and power on the appliance, verify that the App shows the UI status of the appliance. Enable
remote control and check the status on the application.
Are the dierences between Android & iOS (phone and tablet version)?
There are no dierences for the appliance.
Is there the possibility to use tethering over a mobile 3G instead of a router?
Yes, but cloud services are designed for continuously connected devices.
What is the distance from router to the appliance (one room/two room)?
Normally the coverage is for few rooms but WiFi signal is strongly dependent on wall materials. Signal strength can be veried by:
1) If radio de-provisioned, customer can check connection strength with tablet/smartphone (or other HAN portable devices) close to
appliance (for example specic software tools downloadable from internet).
2) In the market there are many devices to extend the home Wi-Fi coverage as: Access Point, Wi-Fi repeaters and Power-line bridge.
3) Ensure that some other connected devices are not using all the internet bandwidth.
4) Verify that all the internet home devices don’t reach the router’s max limit for connected devices.
What settings/conguration has to be set on router software?
The router software must be enabled these options:
1) 2.4 GHz enabled, Wi-Fi b/g/n
2) DHCP and NAT activated.
Please, check the router documentation.
Which Wi-Fi protocols are supported?
Wi-Fi radio installed supports Wi-Fi b/g/n for European countries.
The indicator
blinks, application doesn’t connects to appliance.
Router has no connection with the Internet. Check router’s Internet connection with tablet/smartphone (or others HAN devices as:
computer and notebook).
Power fail, power disconnecting.
Appliance will disable remote control and will continue to work as w/o Wi-Fi connection.
Once you’ve connected appliance, it will remain linked if the power goes out, you move the appliance, or even if you put it in storage for
a while.
Failed connection with router.
If an invalid feedback is received from the router or connection timeout occurs the display will show
for 3s, then the appliance will
come back to the OFF mode and reset your Smart Appliance to the factory defaults.
