LG Inverter Direct Drive is a unique technology that’ll become the talk of the town, for its silence. In this, the

STEAM GENERATOR

The Steam Generator that converts water into steam takes

washing technology a step further. Since the water is heated

directly, it uses less water and energy to create steam than it

does to boil the water at the bottom of the drum. So now you

Better Washing Performance: Steam cleans better than water

How is steam generated?

Water converts into steam under increased temperature

conditions. It takes the form of warm vapour that has more heat

and motion energy than water. Therefore, the use of steam in

washing makes all the difference. The hot vapour envelopes the

clothes, resulting in an effective and a thorough wash.

Why steam?

• Easily transmits heat and humidity due to its minute scale

and mobility.

•

Easily removes odour particles due to its strong absorption force.

• Easily reduces static electricity in clothes due to steam’s

nature of having negative(-) ions.

• Easily relaxes the bonding force between cloth bres and

stains due to the swelling effect of each bre.

The cubic volume of steam vapour at 100°C is 1600 times more

than that of liquid at 25°C. Such an increase in energy leads to

effective washing.

The unique optimum steam temperature and rinsing function enables the Steam Washer Dryer to remove major allergens effectively.

House dust mites, pet fur and pollen found on clothes are eradicated while washing. What you get are thoroughly disinfected clothes

Dual Spray System

The Dual Spray System reduces water and energy consumption. It uses less water to wash

the laundry. It also sprays both water and steam continuously onto the clothes throughout

the wash cycle, improving the washing performance.

Atomized steam (1/600 of water size) penetrates each

corner of the cloth bre and sanitizes the allergens.

Detergent water circulation loosens the allergens from

water, you can reduce the amount of water needed for your

laundry. Also, the small particles of steam penetrate into the

clothes more rapidly and efciently, reducing water consumption

and improving washing performance.

The LG Steam Washer Dryer reduces water consumption by up

to 29% as compared to a conventional washing machine with an

8kg capacity.

Steam heats the drum and laundry more rapidly and

Tub Clean

CONVENTIONAL TUB CLEAN LG TUB CLEAN

Constant use of a washing machine results in the development of fungus and toxic substances in the tub. However, the Tub Clean

function in a Steam Washer Dryer uses hot steam with high spin speed to sterilize every corner of the tub. The tub remains disinfected

and so do the clothes.

Warm Water Rinse

Only LG Front Loading Washing Machines have a Warm Water

Rinse function, which minimises the chances of detergent

remaining in the tub at the end of every wash cycle. It greatly

reduces the chances of allergy.

Sterilization

The temperature in the drum of the Steam Washer Dryer goes up

to 100°C during every wash. It can effectively kill bacteria such as

Staphylococcus and Coliform, which can cause diarrhoea and at

times, even lead to food poisoning.

Advanced Fuzzy Logic Technology senses the wash environment and adjusts the wash cycle automatically to give your clothes the

Water Level Sensor

With the option of 9 different water levels, the

machine chooses the one that best suits your

wash load. It gives your clothes a better wash

and rinse while saving water and electricity.

This feature helps remove detergent residue

from your clothes. Temperatures reach up to

95ºC during the wash cycle ensuring that

you get the most hygienic and clean wash

every time.

wash cycle.

Detects uneven distribution of clothes

and immediately stops the spin action,

redistributes the clothes evenly and then

continues with the spin function. This

Washes at 40º C for 15 minutes for

maximized action of the enzymes in the

detergent. The temperature is set to your

selected level to remove stubborn stains.

Used to introduce an additional rinse
