Rosemount 499ACL-02 Total Chlorine Sensor is intended for use only in the Rosemount TCL sample conditioning system for total chlorine. The sensor is a potentiometric sensor that measures the electrical potential between a gold anode and a silver/silver chloride cathode. The electrical potential is directly proportional to the concentration of free chlorine in the water. The sensor has a linear output of 2% and a pressure range of 0 to 65 psig (101 to 549 kPa abs) and a temperature range of 32 to 122 °F (0 to 50 °C). The sensor is compatible with Rosemount 1056, 56, 5081, and 1066 transmitters.
