Unscrew and remove the stop motion

clamp stop screw.

By hand, unscrew & remove the Łstop

motion clamp screw.

Remove the clamp washer from under

the stop motion screw Store the stop

motion stop set screw, stop motion

screw, and the clamp washer.

Remove the drive belt cover held by

two screws.

Remove longer main belt. Turn hand

wheel to assist removal.

Remove the hand wheel. Wheel slides

off.

Put the big wheel on the end of the

shaft making sure that the teeth on the

wheel are facing the sewing head.

Install the new drive belt. Slip the belt

over the motor pulley and then slip

over the big wheel. At this point it

might be necessary to set the correct

belt tension. Loosen the motor bracket

screw - move the bracket downwards

will tighten the belt upwards will loosen

the belt – securely tighten the screw

after the setting the belt tension.

Slip the drive belt off from the big

wheel and remove the big wheel making

sure the drive belt stays on the motor

pulley. With the big wheel removed

install the drive belt cover that comes

with Cuda Crank kit.

Put the big wheel back onto the shaft

and slip the drive belt onto the big

wheel.

Turn the big wheel by hand until the

two holes to access the screws are

point ing upwards.

Slightly push the drive belt over and

away from you - this will allow you to

get the Allan Key in to securely tighten

the drive belt screws.
