Overview

xD-Picture card is smaller than a stick of chewing gum; it is compact, rugged, reliable, and

comes equipped with built-in erasure-prevention. It can work in an array of different

application, including your Sony MP3 audio recorder, video cameras and computer with a

Memory Stick slot.

Applications

• Suitable for devices that require high storage capacity; for example, digital still

cameras and silicon audio players.

• Inexpensive and handy general-purpose memory.

• Perfect “bridge medium” for connecting digital devices to household electrical

appliances.

• Potential for use as a package medium for content delivery.

Cautions!

• Back up your data before formatting the card as data will be lost.

• Avoid using the card when the battery is low.

• Wait for the operation to complete before removing the card.

• The card is designed to fit easily into the system one way only. Do not bend the card

or force it into the slot.

• Do not touch the connection with your fingers or metal objects.

• Keep the card in safe place to protect your data.

• Keep away from heat, liquids, and direct sunlight.

• Do not drop the card from height.

• Do not expose the card to high temperatures.

• Do not bend or flex the card.

• Do not subject the card to strong physical shocks.

Windows XP will format any Memory Stick having a capacity greater than 32MB with the

FAT32 format by default. Most digital cameras can only operate with FAT format. Please

select FAT as the file system when you format the card.
