MISSILE LOADING AND LAUNCHING
TROUBLESHOOTING GUIDE
Missile will not fire or launcher will not
move.
Vehicle is slow or will not move.
Vehicle does not drive in a straight line.
Vehicle is damp or wet.
My vehicle and/or controller is dirty.
Vehicle is not responding or driving on
it’s own.
Launcher mechanism is jammed.
• Batteries in the vehicle and/or
controller need to be replaced.
• Vehicle is out of range of controller.
• There is hair or debris stuck in the
wheels or wheel axles.
• Batteries are installed incorrectly.
• Improper surface for vehicle.
Vehicle requires wheel alignment.
Inappropriate driving surface
/conditions. Non indoor play.
• Inappropriate driving surface.
• Dirty hands.
• Using another vehicle/controller of
the same frequency.
• IR interference from another source.
Pull with your hands on both sides of the launcher to their maximum
outward position. Then, using hand pressure, push both sides of the
launcher back into the vehicle until they are in their fully closed position.
Turn vehicle off, wait 5 seconds, then turn back on. Resume play.
• Make sure your controller is pointed at the vehicle.
• Ensure you are playing indoors, away from sunlight that can affect the
IR communication between your controller and your vehicle.
• If controller LED is flashing then controller batteries are low. Replace
batteries in controller with new, fresh batteries.
• Replace batteries in vehicle with new, fresh batteries.
• Move closer to the vehicle.
• With the vehicle and controller turned off, have an adult carefully
remove the hair or debris from the wheels or wheel axels.
• With the vehicle and controller turned off, have an adult check that the
batteries are installed correctly.
• Change your play area to a hard, flat surfaces or very dense carpet.
DO NOT PLAY ON THE STREET OR IN AN AREA WHERE THERE IS
NO ADULT SUPERVISION.

Turn the controller off and ask an adult to safely remove the vehicle from
the water source. It’s recommended to discontinue use of the toy. Once
dry, the vehicle should be properly disposed of.
Ensure the controller and vehicle are off. Have an adult remove the
batteries first and replace the battery covers. Slightly damp a clean cloth
in clean plain water and wipe toy clean. Wipe dry. DO NOT IMMERSE IN
WATER and DO NOT USE ANY CHEMICALS. Let the toy completely
dry before putting batteries back into clean, dry battery compartment.
• Check your vehicles frequency and be sure TO NOT operate multiple
vehicles of the same frequency.
PROBLEM CAUSE
SOLUTION
NOTE: If normal function of the product is disturbed or interrupted, strong
electro-magnetic interference may be causing the issue. To reset product,
turn it completely off, then turn it back on. If normal operation does not
resume, move the product to another location and try again. To ensure
normal performance, change the batteries, as low batteries may not allow
full function.
1. Open right and left missile launchers by
moving the Missile Door Open/Close
switch to the right. The targeting sight
will also open.
2. Start with the inside missiles (the
ones closer to the vehicle) followed
by the outside missiles.
3. Press the Fire Missile button to fire
the first two outside missiles (If no
missiles are loaded on the outside,
you still need to press this so you
can fire the inside missiles).
You will
hear Finn McMissile™ speak each
time you press the Fire Missile button.
4. Press the Fire Missile button again
to launch the two inside missiles.
5. When you- have fired all your
missiles, the launchers will slightly
retract back to the missile loading
position. Load your next set
of missiles.
6.
Return the launchers and the
targeting sight to their storage
positions by moving the Missile Door
Open/Close switch to the left. You will
hear a sound when the doors close.
