Adult supervision is required.
•
Continuous and prolonged sucking of milk,
formula, and other fluids can cause tooth decay.
•
ONLY use ChiccoDUO
™
nipples with this
product.
•
Inspect feeding nipple carefully before each
use. Gently pull the nipple in all directions to
check for any damage, especially when the child
has teeth. Replace nipple at the first sign of
damage. For hygiene reasons, we recommend
replacing the nipple after 2 months.
•
Check that the flow is suitable for the child’s
needs, paying attention to any difficulties in
sucking or leakage of milk from the mouth.
•
Never use feeding nipple as a soother or
pacifier.
•
Always check food temperature before
feeding.
•
Microwave heating of bottle contents can
cause uneven heating and is not recommended.
•
This product can be sterilized using the
appropriate equipment or by boiling for 5
minutes, avoiding contact with the metal walls
of the container used.
•
Some brightly-colored foods and drinks may
alter the color of the nipple.
•
Do not turn feeding nipples inside out,
damage may result.
•
Do not allow child to walk or run while
holding the feeding bottle.
•
Keep unassembled feeding nipples out of
child’s reach.
BEFORE FIRST USE
•
Sterilize in boiling water for 5 minutes or by
using a sterilizer. Allow to cool completely and
dry thoroughly.
BEFORE EACH USE
•
Check nipple and replace at the first sign of
wear or damage or every two months.
•
To ensure optimal hygiene, always wash and
rinse thoroughly before and after each use.
•
Pull up on nipple to make sure it is fitted
correctly on bottle cap ring.
•
To ensure the nipple is functioning/venting
properly, we recommend gently massaging the
valve at the base of the nipple with your fingers
before each use.
CLEANING
•
Remove nipple from bottle before cleaning.
Wash using mild soap and water. Dry completely
before storing. Store in a dry place.
CLEANING
•
Regularly sterilize in boiling water for 5
minutes or by using a sterilizer. Allow to cool
completely and dry thoroughly.
•
Top rack dishwasher safe.
•
Do NOT use bleach or any other harsh
chemicals.
•
When cleaning baby bottles and nipples, avoid
the use of abrasive cleaners or brushes. We
suggest silicone, sponge or gentle bristle brushes.
HEATING
•
Place in a bottle warmer, under warm-to-hot
running water or in a container of heated water.
•
If using a bottle warmer, follow its instructions
•
Gently swirl contents to mix after heating.
•
Test the temperature of the milk/formula on
the inside of your wrist before serving.
