Use - Tracheostomy
Tracheostomy
To perform tracheostomy care and emergency procedures, select preferred setting in
SimPad PLUS or LLEAP.
Settings available:
• Open
• Partial
• Closed
• False passage / mucus plug
• Ventilator setting
Notes
• Pharyngeal swelling functionality is not available with SimBaby with Tracheostomy
• Only use tracheostomy tubes up to 4.0 mm uncuffed and up to 3.5 mm cuffed
• Remember to reinsert the tracheostoma plug after use
