Safety Warnings

For your continued safety and to reduce the risk

of injury or electric shock, please follow all the

safety precautions listed below.

•Read all the instructions carefully before

using this appliance and keep them for future

reference.

•Retain the manual. If you pass the appliance

on to a third party, make sure to include this

manual.

•Unplug the appliance from the mains socket

when not in use, or before cleaning any part of

the appliance.

•Allow the appliance to completely cool down

before cleaning.

•Never immerse the appliance in water and

always keep the electrical contacts dry.

•Never place the appliance on or near a source

of heat such as a cooker ring or gas ame.

•Always place the appliance on a dry, at and

stable surface.

•Before using, check that the voltage power

corresponds to the one shown on the appliance

nameplate.

•Avoid contacting moving parts.

•Do not operate the appliance with a

damaged cord or plug. Return the appliance

to the nearest authorized service facility for

examination, repair or adjustment.

•Make sure the appliance is turned o after each

use. Make sure the motor stops completely

before disassembling.

•Do not put your ngers or other objects into

the juicer opening while it is in operation. If

food becomes lodged in the opening, use food

pusher or another piece of fruit or vegetable

to push it down. When this method is not

possible, turn the motor o and disassemble

the juicer to remove the remaining food.

•Do not use outdoors.

•All detachable parts must be dried completely

after cleaning.

•Do not leave the machine on unattended.

•If the mains cable is damaged it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent,

or similarly qualied persons in order to avoid

a hazard.

•Do not let the mains cable overhang the edge

of the work surface or allow it to touch hot

surfaces or sources of heat or ame.

•This appliance is intended for indoor household

use and similar applications such as:

– farm houses and by clients in hotels, motels

and other residential type environment;

– bed and breakfast type environment;

– catering and similar non-retail applications.

•Switch o the appliance and disconnect from

mains supply before changing accessories or

approaching parts that move while in use.

•Be careful of potential injury from misuse.

•This appliance can be used by children aged from

8 years and above and persons with reduced

physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack

of experience and knowledge if they have been

given supervision or instruction concerning use

of the appliance in safe way and understand the

hazards involved. Children shall not play with the

appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall

not be made by children unless they are older

than 8 and supervised.

•Children should be supervised to ensure that

they do not play with the appliance.

•Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of

children less than 8 years old.

•Close supervision is necessary when the

appliance is used by or near children.

Remove all items from the packaging. Retain the packaging. If you dispose of it please do so according to local

regulations.

We recommend that you spend some time reading this instruction manual in order

that you fully understand all the operational features it oers. You will also nd

some hints and tips to help you resolve any issues.

Assembling your Slow Juicer

Before assembling, make sure the power cord is unplugged from the power

outlet and the power switch is in the “O” position.

1. Place the bowl on the motor unit, make sure the four holes at

the bottom of the bowl align with the four location pins on

the motor unit. Make sure the bowl is assembled in position

properly, otherwise the appliance will not operate.

2. Push the auger into the bowl, make sure the auger is covered

into the axis of the motor unit.

3. Place the strainer into the bowl, turning it to make sure the

grooves at the bottom of the strainer are locked in place with

the bowl.

4. Place the hopper on the bowl, then turn the hopper until it is

locked with the bowl. Make sure the arrow indicator on the

hopper is aligned with the lock icon on the bowl.

5. Lastly, place your juice container below the juice spout and

pulp container below the pulp ejection spout.

First Time Use

Thoroughly clean the parts that will come into contact with food before you use the appliance for the rst time.

Clean the strainer with the cleaning brush. Use warm soapy water, then rinse and dry completely before use.

Using your Slow Juicer

1. Before attaching the power cord into the outlet, make sure the power switch is in the “O” position. The power

switch has three settings: “ON” is for switching on the motor, “O” is for switching o the motor, “REV” is only

used for unclogging food that is stuck.

2. Make sure the juice container and the pulp container are placed in position.

3. Cut fruits and vegetables into smaller pieces, such as carrots into thin slices, before putting into the machine.

The carrot weight for each time should not exceed 3kg.

• Remove any hard seeds before juicing. The appliance can be used for juicing carrot, pear, apple, cucumber, grape,

spinach, celery and so on.

• Not recommended for processing coconuts or similar hard foodstus, since this may damage the motor.

• Not recommended for processing hard fruit or vegetable rich in ber and starch, such as sugarcane.

• The peel and pits should be removed from oranges, lemons, grapefruits and melons.

4. Press the power switch to the “ON” position. During operation, if the machine is stuck and not operable, turn

o the machine, press and hold the power switch at the “REV” position for a few seconds then try operating

again. If the machine is still stuck and not operable, turn o the machine and re-assemble the parts again.

Do not operate with an empty bowl.

5. Drop the prepared fruits or vegetables into the feeding opening of the hopper and gently push the fruit down

into the auger using the food pusher.

Do not put your ngers or other foreign objects into the feeding opening while it is in operation.

6. When the juice container is full or the food has been extracted, turn the power switch to the “O” position.

Empty the juice container and pulp container before continuing.

Do not continuously extract food for more than 15 minutes. Do not insert too much food to

extract each time. During operation, once the juice container is full, you must stop the appliance

and empty the juice and pulp container before continuing.

During operation, if the hopper and the bowl is disconnected, the motor will stop operating to

avoid any danger.

Cleaning and Maintenance

1. Unplug the appliance and wait for it to completely cool down before cleaning.

2. Unlock and remove the hopper.

3. Empty the pulp container, then clean the hopper, food pusher, strainer, bowl, auger and pulp container under

running water. The cleaning brush can be used for cleaning the strainer.

Do not use metal sponge to clean, it will damage the machine. Do not use dishwasher to clean.

4. Wipe the surface of the motor unit with damp cloth. Never immerse the motor unit in water.

5. Dry and assemble all parts. Store in a dry place.
