TECHNICAL FEATURES
Thanks to its advanced electronic engineering and innovative design concept, the
TAS2000 weather proof telephone set is indispensable for installation in the loud
industry with very hard environmental conditions and outdoor.
It has been conceived for direct connection to C.O. telephone lines or connection to
subscriber lines (PABX and equivalent) with 60V, 48V or 24V power supply.

INSTALLATION
Fix the telephone set case to the wall using the 2 position fixing brackets supplied
with the equipment.
Open the front side pivoting it of 90°
Make the settings in compliance with the installation and users exigencies
Connect the telephone line trough the 1/2" cable gland to A, B terminals
(M1 terminal block)
Lift the handset
Press the "Reset" key (this procedure sets the correct volume and tone of ringer
and the correct receiving volume)
Hang up
Connect the Earth Loop (eventual)
In case of necessity to connect an additional call repeater, take out the 1/2" plug,
put a suitable 1/2" cable gland, insert the two wires for the call repeater connection
and connect them to the terminals S1 - S2 (M1 terminal block)
The telephone sets series TAS2000 have too, on request, the possibility to mount a
second contact on the hook switch, for particular applications. In this case will be
present too, the terminals A2 A1 (M2 terminal block), where connecting the relevant
wires.
LAST NUMBER REDIAL
The last number dialled can be repeated by pressing the "RP" key.
One or more initial digits of the last number dialled can be repeated manually.
The following depression of the "RP" key will dial the rest of the digits stored in
memory.
This is useful when the telephone is connected to a PABX to redial an external
number.
Example: the last number dialled is 987654 (where 9 is the access code to the CO line)
off hook, wait for PABX tone
press 9 and wait for external tone
press "RP", 87654 will be dialled out
If the initial digits dialled manually do not match the initial digits of the last number
dialled, the contents of last number memory will be replaced by the new number.
