FIXING GUIDELINES FOR MULTIVENT 125 (UB34)
INSTALLATION IN TILES
1. Complete tiling to the course below where the Multivent is to be
installed
2. Make an ‘X’ cut in the underlay/sarking to allow for the penetration of
the 125mm diameter pipe
3. Position lead flashing over cut in underlay and dress over lower course of
tiles, ensuring the lead is dressed carefully into any profiling. Dress top
edge on to batten and turn up to form a lip
4. Lay course of tiles on either side of lead flashing
5. When laying next full course of tiles, it may be necessary to cut the tile
which dresses over the top of the Multivent
6. Engage pipe into base, ensuring that the cut sections of the underlay are
pulled upwards.
7. Secure pipe in the vertical position with pipe clip
