WARNING: Before working on a light, always check for a working Ground Fault Circuit Interrupter (GFCI). If no
GFCI is present you MUST notify the home owner of its absence. We recommend that the home owner sign a
document acknowledging the fact that no GFCI is present and that they were advised that a dangerous electrical
issue exists with the pool. We do not recommend performing any work on a pool without a GFCI. Taking these
precautions help protect you from potentially devastating lawsuits in the event of an electrical accident involving
the pool.
INSTALLATION INSTRUCTIONS:
NOTE: Installation may be completed with water in the pool; however it is much easier while the pool is empty.
1. Remove the light from the niche.
2. Clean out all the plaster from inside the niche where it will make contact with the ring.
3. Remove bolt from ring opening with Allen wrench provided. See Figure 1 below.
4. Unlatch ring to put cord inside the ring.
5. Place the light cord through the opening in the ring.
6. Compress the ring and insert inside the light niche, placing the bolt hole at the top and the notch at the bottom.
7. Clip ends of ring opening together and secure with the enclosed set screw using the Allen wrench provided.
See Figure 1 below.
8. Adjust the depth of the ring inside the niche to make sure both the bolt hole and notch are flush with the edge
of the plaster.
9. Using the Allen wrench provided, tighten anchor screws into niche until secure. See Figure 2 below.
10. Attach grounding wire to grounding screw.
11. Reinstall light.
