Operating Instructions Suburban Safari
Keep this manual for future reference. If you sell this stroller or give it away,
make sure you give this manual to the new owner. Ask them to read instructions
completely.
IMPORTANT: Read and follow these Safety Rules and Assembly Instructions
before operating stroller. If you have any questions concerning the safe

IMPORTANT: Tires are shipped deflated, DO NOT OVERINFLATE.
Please inflate slowly, with short bursts, to the PSI shown on the tire.

Safety Rules:
WARNING: Failure to follow these warnings and assembly
instructions could result in serious injury or death.
· Immediately discard any plastic wrapping.
· Never allow children to fold, assemble or disassemble the stroller.
· Maximum weight capacity for the Single stroller is 75 lbs. or 34 kgs.
Double is 100 lbs or 45.4 kgs. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous,
unstable condition if this load is exceeded
· Stroller is not for use with children under 6 months of age.
· Never place child in the stroller with their head forward and feet rearward
unless they are placed in an approved infant carrier that is made specifically
for this stroller.
· Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. Always use seatbelt.
· Never leave child unattended.
· Never use this stroller with roller skates or in-line skates.
· Never allow stroller to be used as a toy or allow children to give
rides to others.
· Never use stroller if it becomes damaged.
· Always be aware of traffic around you when walking.
· Always engage brakes when you stop or when you let go of handle.
· Accessories or parcels placed in or on the stroller may cause it to become
unstable.
· Maximum weight for objects in bottom basket is 5 lbs. or 2.2 kg.
Rear pouch is 2.2 lbs or 1 kg. Excessive weight may cause a hazardous,
unstable condition.
· To avoid burns, never put hot liquids in the parent or child tray.
· To prevent tipping over do not place more than 2 lbs or 1 kg on either parent
or child tray.
· Child may slip into leg openings and strangle. Never use in a reclined car-
riage position unless T-shield/waist strap placement has been re-adjusted.
· Care must be taken when folding and unfolding the product to
prevent finger entrapment.

Tools Required: Lay out and identify all of the parts. If any parts are missing, do
not return the product to the store it was purchased; contact Pacific Cycle on the
previous page contact information.
1. Unfold Jogger
Remove all packing materials, including any thing that may be holding the frame
in a closed position, and discard.
Lift up on the handle and unfold the frame of the jogger (Figure 1). You will hear
a ‘click’ when stroller is fully opened and locked.
Once unfolded double check the rear frame braces (Figure 1A). Make sure that
the center snap button is secured and that the frame is locked in place at this point.
2. Install Rear Axle
Locate the rear axle assembly. Flip the stroller upside down so that the rear legs
are up in the air. Place the axle assembly on to the rear legs making sure the
rear brake levers are facing out (Figure 2). Slide the axle assembly down the
legs until the snap buttons on the frame engage and make a ‘click’ sound. Tug
on the axle to make sure it is secure.
3. Install/Remove Rear Wheel
To install the rear wheels, simply push the wheel axle into one of the axle chan-
nels on the axle assembly (Figure 3). Push it in until there is a ‘click’. Once
engaged, pull on it to make sure it is secure. Repeat for the other side.
To remove the wheels, Press in the button under the axle (Figure 3A). As you
push the button in, pull the wheel out. Repeat for the other side.

6. Install Parent and Child Tray
Open the canopy. Snap the parent tray on to the handlebar tubes (Figure 6).
Guide the child tray tabs into the slots on the stroller frame. Push until tray clicks
into place (Figure 6a). To remove the tray, lift up on the tabs of each side of the
tray and pull the tray off (Figure 6b).
7. Folding the Stroller
Before folding the stroller, close the canopy remove the child from the stroller.
To fold the stroller, slide the red lever on the handlebar to the left and squeeze.
Hold the button in and push the handlebar down. The stroller should fold flat.
Hook the red tab to the frame of the stroller to keep the stroller folded. You may
need to raise the backrest by hand to fold easily.
4. Install Front Wheel
Slip the front wheel on to the front fork. Make sure that the small hooks/tabs on
the washers are hooked in the corresponding holes on the fork. Tighten the nut
down with the included spanner wrench (Figure 4). Repeat for the other side.
Do not over tighten the nuts.
NOTE: This product has a swivel wheel that can rotate or be locked in place. To lock
or unlock the wheel use the switch placed on the top of the fork to toggle between
jogger and stroller mode. The wheel should always be locked in place when used as
a jogging stroller.
5. Install Front Fender
Insert the top of the front fender so that the top lies under the bottom of the seat.
There are two elastic loops at the bottom of the seat (Figure 5). Insert the elastic
loops through the provided holes in the fender.
Flip the stroller upside down. Attach the elastic loops to the pegs on the under
side of the fender (Figure 5a). Also, insert the two provided screws into the
holes on the frame (Figure 5a) so that they line up with the provided holes in the
fender. Tighten down with a Phillips screwdriver.

12. Using the Optional Car Seat Adapter
There is an optional car seat adapter that can be purchased from Instep. To
install the car seat adapter, you must first remove the child tray (see step 6 to re-
move tray). The car seat adapter will attach in a similar manner as the child tray.
Guide the car seat adapter tabs into the slots on the stroller frame. Push until the
tabs click into place (Figure 12)

8. Using the Brakes
Step down on to the red levers on both rear wheels (Figure 8). Make sure that
the stroller is stopped before engaging the brakes. Both brakes must be locked.
Push the stroller to insure that the wheels are locked. Lift up on the levers to
unlock brakes.
9. Adjusting the Seat
To recline the seat, squeeze the adjuster tabs together and pull the adjuster
out until the seat lowers to the desired height (Figure 9). To raise seat upright,
squeeze the adjuster tabs again and slide it back up the strings until the seat is at
the desired position.
WARNING! Do not adjust the seat position when your child is in the stroller.
10. Using the Safety Harness
Place child in the seat. Make sure the T-shield rests between the child’s legs.
When the child is seated, place the shoulder straps over the child’s shoulders.
(Figure 10.a)
Nest the two buckle parts together. Place the male end of the buckle into the
female end. Press until it clicks in place. Note the two parts must be nested to be
secure. Check to make sure they are secure. (Figure 10.b) Ensure the child’s waist
and shoulder straps are secure by adjusting the webbing at the clips near the
shoulders. (Figure 10.c)
WARNING! Avoid serious injury from falling or sliding out. ALWAYS use the har-
ness. Check frequently to make sure it is secure. Failure to follow these instruc-
tions could result in the serious injury or death of your child.

SHOULDER HARNESS
The shoulder straps for the harness are adjustable depending on
the size of your child. The shoulder straps are used with a loop
system that puts the straps at 2 different sizes. (Fig11.a and 11.b),
The smallest length of strap is able to be used for smaller children.
If more slack is needed back the strap out from the lowest setting
and insert it fully into the higher setting.

WARRANTY. ANY IMPLIED WARRANTIES, INCLUDING ANY
WARRANTY OF MERCHANTABILITY AND WARRANTY OF FITNESS
FOR A PARTICULAR PURPOSE IS LIMITED IN DURATION TO THE
DURATION OF THIS EXPRESS WARRANTY. This limited warranty gives
you specific legal rights and you may also have other rights which may vary
from state to state.
This warranty is extended only to the original consumer purchaser for
non-commercial use and does not cover tires or tubes, grips, brake shoes,
or other wear part, ordinary wear and tear, abuse, misuse, neglect, rust, theft,
or damage due to accident.
PACIFIC CYCLE, INC., IS NOT RESPONSIBLE FOR INCIDENTAL OR
CONSEQUENTIAL DAMAGES. THIS LIMITED WARRANTY DOES NOT
COVER ANY PERSONAL INJURIES, DAMAGE TO, OR, FAILURE OF THE
PRODUCT OR ANY OTHER LOSSES DUE TO ACCIDENT, ABUSE,
MISUSE, ALTERATION, NEGLECT, RUST, NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR,
IMPROPER ASSEMBLY, IMPROPER FIT, IMPROPER MAINTENANCE
OR USE OF UNAUTHORIZED REPLACEMENT PARTS NOT DESIGNED

To make claim under warranty, notification of such defect must be given to Pacific
Cycle, Inc at the address stated below. You will be instructed on how the product
or part needing replacement should be shipped postpaid to Pacific Cycle, Inc.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE
Check fasteners after one hour of use; check all fasteners to make sure they are secure.
Adjust if necessary. Periodically check the stroller to ensure that it is in good operating
condition.
To clean seat and canopy: If light cleaning is required, use a soft cloth with warm water
and mild soap then air dry. Do not put in washing machine. Do not put in dryer. DO NOT
BLEACH.
To clean frame: Wipe using a soft cloth with warm water and mild soap. Air dry. DO NOT
USE polish or abrasives.
