ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
Start with a level surface. Lay out Wall Supports, 1pc-78 ½” and 1pc-86 ½”. The longer side of the mounting
plate needs to be toed in toward one another, (see Step 2)
Measure 4” up from the bottom of the mounting pads before you begin installing the self tapping screws that
secure the Side Walls to the Wall Supports. This is the bottom of the shed that will be eventually anchored to
the ground. One other note before screwing the wall together: Make sure the center angle iron rail on the Side
Walls and Back Wall is positioned so that the screws holding the siding to the frame is facing the bottom side of
the wall.
VESTIL MFG. CO. 4
Screw 10pc of 1” self tapping screws in pre drilled holes connecting both Side Wall panels to Wall Supports.
IMPORTANT: Reverse the previous instructions for assembling the other Side Walls to other two Wall
Supports.
Using a 4” spacer (not provided in kit, wooden blocks shown in picture ) elevate the Back Wall panel and attach
it to the 78 ½” Wall Supports. Each end of the Back Wall will use 5pc of 1” self tapping screws.
Make sure the outer walls, as seen above, are parallel and square. This prepares the shed for the roof
installation.
VESTIL MFG. CO. 5
There are two roof panels and they are different from one another.
When placing the roof panel over the Back Wall you should have another person on the other side receiving the
roof and aligning it with the pads on the top of the Wall Supports.
Install at least 1pc 3/8” X 1 ¼”-16 bolts with 2pcs 3/8” washers per support post with washers on each side of
the mounting pads. Secure with 1pc 3/8”-16 nut. This will allow you to complete the rest of the roof
assembly.
VESTIL MFG. CO. 6
Insert 1 pc of a 9” long spacer, this can be cut from the skid utilized as packaging material. Do this for both
sides. You will now be able to match up the other half of the roof.
Lift the other side of the roof panel installing it from the front of the shed. The holes in each side should be
matched up with the ears from the previously installed section. This section will over lap the other section.
Install 2pc – 3/8” X 1 ¼”-16 bolts and 2pc - 3/8”- 16 nuts to each side of the roof.
VESTIL MFG. CO. 7
Install 4pc – 3/8” X 1 ¼”-16 bolts with 8pc of 3/8” washers. The washers should be located above and below
the mounting pad and secured with 4pc of 3/8”-16 nuts. Complete assembly of all remaining mounting pads
following previous instructions. Now go back and tighten all bolts and nuts at this point.
Before anchoring floor pads (anchors not included) make sure the open ended front side walls are level
(vertically). This ensures the greatest strength of the unit. This can be done with a simple bubble level.
Utilize the mount pad holes to secure the shed to the ground. Anchor these pads prior to Step 15. (Anchoring
hardware not included)
