INTRODUCTION
Thank you for choosing the LANAFORM Nail Dryer.
Its round shape and reective interior is designed
to dry your ngernails and toenails evenly. Its
timer function will ensure you manicure is quick,
safe and perfect.
Finally, it has a detachable lower tray so that you
can easily clean and quickly replace the uores-
cent tubes.

This device is not intended for use by people,
including children, with reduced physical, sensory
or mental capabilities, or people with a lack of
experience or knowledge, unless someone res-
ponsible for their safety can supervise or instruct
them beforehand on how to use the device. Child-
ren should be supervised to make sure they do not
play with the device.

Use this device only in accordance with the
instructions given in this manual.
•
Check that your mains voltage is the same as
that of your device.
• Always place the nail dryer on a hard, at, ho-
rizontal surface. Keep it away from heat sources
such as stoves, radiators, etc.
• Do not leave the device in direct sunlight.
•
Do not connect or disconnect the plug or elec-
trical transformer of the device with wet hands.
•
If the power cable is damaged, it must be
replaced by a similar cable available from the
supplier or the supplier’s after-sales department.
• Unplug the device before cleaning it.
• Do not dispose of or store the device in places
from which it is likely to fall or to be accidentally
pushed into a bath, sink or any other receptacle
containing water. Do not immerse the device in
water or let it fall into water or any other liquid.
This could cause a serious electric shock. Do not
attempt to retrieve a device that has fallen into
water. Disconnect the power supply immediately.

An electrical device should never be left
connected unsupervised. Unplug it when you
are not using it.
• Keep the power cable away from hot surfaces.
•
Never use this device in a room in which aerosols
(sprays) are used or in a room in which oxygen is
administered.
• Do not put items of clothing or towels under or
on top of the device.

This nail dryer is designed for domestic use only.
•
Do not use this device without medical advice in
the following cases: if you are pregnant, if you are
allergic to UV radiation, if your skin has any scars,
tattoos or beauty spots, if you have skin cancer, if
you have any unusual skin discolouring, if you are
taking any medicine or if you are photosensitive. If
you are unsure, consult your doctor before using
the Nail Dryer.
• Do not look at the UV lamp directly.

Excessive exposure to UV rays can cause
sunburn. Over-frequent exposure to UV rays
causes skin ageing and increases the risk of skin
cancer.

If you experience any pain when using this
device, stop using it immediately and consult
your doctor.
• Keep children away from the packaging mate-
rials. They could suocate.
•

Description of the device
1 On/o button:
· “ON/“unlimited””: unlimited operation
· “OFF”: device stops completely
· “120 timer”: light comes on for 120 seconds and
switches o automatically.
2 “Timer on”: timer function switched on

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Replacing the tubes
If one of the four uorescent tubes does not work
properly, replace it.
To do this, follow these steps (diagram 2):
1 Remove the lower tray.
2 Remove the faulty tube(s).

Carefully push in the uorescent tubes, fol-
lowing the direction for insertion.
4 Replace the lower tray.
You can order the appropriate uorescent tubes
from our customer service department.
Only insert UV-9W, 365nm uorescent tubes
into the device.
Using the device
1
Always place the device on a hard, at and
level surface.
2 Plug the device into the mains.
3 Select one of the UV light’s two lighting times:
· Unlimited
· 120-second timer
4 To adjust the timer to the 120-second lighting
time, select the “Timer On” function. Then switch
the “120 timer” on.
The dryer comes on for 120 seconds and switches
o automatically. You can, if necessary, start
the drying process again by pressing the same
button again.

If you go for continuous lighting, turn the selec-
tor to the “ON/ “unlimited symbol” function and
drying will be triggered for an unlimited period
and must be stopped manually. This mode is
often used when drying takes less or more than
120 seconds.

Place your gel-covered nails (nails facing up)
inside the device with your hand or foot at.

When drying is completely nished, make sure
you switch o the device properly by turning
the selector button to the “OFF” position and
unplugging it.
MAINTENANCE AND STORAGE
Maintenance
• Disconnect the power supply.
• Clean the lower tray after each use.
• Gently clean the surface of the device and the
lower tray using a slightly damp cloth.
• Do not use detergent or solvent.
Storage
Having cleaned and dried the device, store it in a
dry, cool place out of the reach of children.

BREAKDOWNS AND SOLUTIONS
Problem Cause Solution
The device does not light up. The power supply is not connected. Plug in the device.
The function selector has not been switched on. Select the drying period required by pressing
the selector.
No voltage. Check the condition of the fuse.
The varnish is not drying. The drying time is too short. Turn on the drying process again.
The varnish is not suitable for UV light. Choose a varnish that reacts to UV light (gel
polish).
The UV tube no longer lights up. The UV tube is not inserted correctly. Re-insert it correctly.
Limited lifespan. Replace the faulty UV tube.
ADVICE REGARDING
THE DISPOSAL OF WASTE
All the packaging is composed of materials that
pose no hazard for the environment and which
can be disposed of at your local sorting centre to
be used as secondary raw materials. The card-
board may be disposed of in a paper recycling
bin. The packaging lm must be taken to your
local sorting and recycling centre.
When you have nished using the device, please
dispose of it in an environmentally friendly way
and in accordance with the law.
LIMITED WARRANTY
LANAFORM guarantees this product against any
material or manufacturing defect for a period of
two years from the date of purchase, except in the
circumstances described below.
The LANAFORM guarantee does not cover
damage caused as a result of normal wear to
this product. In addition, the guarantee covering
this LANAFORM product does not cover damage
caused by abusive or inappropriate or incorrect
use, accidents, the use of unauthorized accesso-
ries, changes made to the product or any other
circumstance, of whatever sort, that is outside
LANAFORM’s control.
LANAFORM may not be held liable for any type of
circumstantial, indirect or specic damage.
All implicit guarantees relating to the suitability
of the product are limited to a period of two years
from the initial date of purchase as long as a copy
of the proof of purchase can be supplied.
On receipt, LANAFORM will repair or replace your
appliance at its discretion and will return it to
you. The guarantee is only valid through LANA-
FORM’s Service Centre. Any attempt to maintain
this product by a person other than LANAFORM’s
Service Centre will render this guarantee void.

séchage uniforme des ongles de vos mains comme
de vos pieds. Sa fonction « minuterie » vous garan-
tira une manucure rapide, sure et parfaite.
Enn, il est équipé d’un plateau inférieur amovible
pour un nettoyage simple et un remplacement
rapide des tubes uorescents.

Cet appareil n’est pas prévu pour être utilisé
par des personnes, y compris les enfants, dont
les capacités physiques, sensorielles ou mentales

• Débranchez l’appareil avant de le nettoyer.
• Ne disposez ou stockez pas l’appareil dans des
endroits desquels il est susceptible de tomber
ou d’être poussé accidentellement dans une
baignoire, un évier ou tout autre récipient conte-
nant de l’eau. Ne l’immergez pas dans l’eau et
ne le laissez pas tomber dans l’eau ou dans tout

médicaments ou si vous êtes photosensible. En cas
de simple doute, consultez votre médecin avant
l’utilisation du Nail Dryer.
• Ne regardez jamais directement la lampe à UV.
•
Un rayonnement UV excessif peut provoquer
un coup de soleil sur la peau. Un rayonnement
UV trop fréquent provoque un vieillissement de
la peau et augmente le risque de cancer de la peau.
•
Si vous ressentez une douleur quelconque
durant l’utilisation de cet appareil, stoppez
immédiatement l’usage de celui-ci et consultez
votre médecin.
•
Éloignez les enfants du matériel d’emballage.
Ils pourraient s’étouer.
•
Un rayonnement UV excessif peut provoquer
un coup de soleil sur la peau. Un rayonnement
UV trop fréquent provoque un vieillissement de
la peau et augmente le risque de cancer de la peau.
• Une surexposition aux rayonnements UV peut
occasionner des dommages sur la peau ou aux
yeux. Si vous remarquez des changements sur
votre peau, consultez un médecin.
•
Si vous savez être allergique au rayonnement UV,
consultez votre médecin avant d’utiliser l’appareil.
•
Utilisez exclusivement un éclairage du type
préconisé. Le non-respect de cette consigne
annulerait la garantie.
COMPOSANTS DE L’APPAREIL

Description de l’appareil
1 Bouton d’alimentation :
· « ON/«inni»» : fonctionnement illimité
· « OFF » : arrêt total de l’appareil
·
Bouton « 120 timer » : fonctionnement de la
lumière pendant 120 secondes et arrêt auto-
matique.

MODE D’EMPLOI
Remplacement des tubes
Lorsqu’un des quatre tubes uorescents ne fonc-
tionne plus correctement, remplacez-le.
Pour ce faire, suivez les étapes suivantes (schéma 2) :
1 Retirez le plateau inférieur.
2 Retirez le(s) tube(s) défectueux.

Enfoncez délicatement les nouveaux tubes
uorescents en respectant le sens d’insertion.
4 Replacez le plateau inférieur.
Vous pouvez commander les tubes uorescents
appropriés auprès de notre service client.
Insérez exclusivement des tubes uorescents de
type UV-9W, 365nm dans l’appareil.
Utilisation de l’appareil

Posez l’appareil sur une surface stable, plane
et sèche.
2 Branchez la prise sur le secteur.
3 Choisissez entre deux durées d’éclairage de la
lampe UV :
· Durée illimitée
· Minuteur de 120 secondes.

Pour régler le minuteur sur la durée d’éclairage
de 120 secondes, placez le sélecteur sur la fonction
« Timer On ». Enclenchez ensuite la touche minu-
terie « 120 timer ».
Le séchage s’enclenche pour une durée de 120
secondes et s’éteint automatiquement. Si besoin,
vous pouvez réactiver le séchage en appuyant de
nouveau sur cette même touche.

Pour opter pour une durée d’éclairage continue,
placez le sélecteur sur la fonction « ON/ »symbole
inni ». le séchage s’enclenche pour une durée illi-
mitée et doit être arrêté manuellement. Ce mode
est souvent utilisé lorsque la durée de séchage est
inférieure ou supérieure à 120 secondes.

Placez vos ongles recouverts de gel (ongles vers
le haut) à l’intérieur de l’appareil, la main ou le
pied bien à plat.
7 Lorsque votre séchage est totalement terminé,
veillez à éteindre l’appareil correctement en
plaçant le bouton sélecteur sur la fonction « OFF»
et en le débranchant.
ENTRETIEN ET RANGEMENT
Entretien
• Débranchez la prise du secteur.
•
Nettoyez le plateau inférieur après chaque
utilisation.
• Nettoyez délicatement la surface de l’appareil
et le plateau inférieur à l’aide d’un chion légè-
rement humide.
• N’utilisez pas de détergent ni de solvant.
Rangement
Rangez l’appareil dans un endroit sec et frais,
hors de portée des enfants, après l’avoir nettoyé
et séché.
PANNES ET REMÈDES
Problème Cause possible Solution
L’appareil ne s’allume pas. La prise n’est pas branchée. Branchez la prise.
Le sélecteur de fonctions n’a pas été enclenché. Sélectionnez la durée de séchage souhaitée en
appuyant sur le sélecteur.
Pas de tension. Vérier l’état du fusible.
Le vernis ne sèche pas. Le temps de séchage est trop court. Réactivez le séchage.
Le vernis n’est pas approprié aux UV. Opter pour un vernis réagissant aux UV (vernis
à gel).
Le tube UV n’éclaire plus. Le tube UV est mal inséré. Insérez-le de nouveau correctement.
Durée de vie limitée. Remplacez le tube UV défectueux.
