addition,itisequippedwithtwoRJ45portsandsupportswebserverservicesto
accommodatetothenetworkcommunicationenvironmenttoday.

openSWANtocompresstheFedora10sizeto2.7GandstoredinaCFcard.ACFcard
ismuchreliablethanaharddrivewhenadeviceisinstalledinahashorvibrational
environment.Hence,theJetBoxwithpreinstalledLinuxCFcardisareadytouse
solution.Itiseasierandmoreconvenientforcustomers.

BeforeInstallation

1. Beforeremovingthecover,shutdowntheoperationSystemanddisconnect
powerswitchtooffandunplugACtoDCAdaptercable.
2. Installanyconnector,CompactFlash,andharddiskissurethatthepoweris
disconnectedorpowerswitchtoofffromthesystem.Ifnot,thismay
damagethesystem.
3. TheESD(ElectricityStaticDischarge)maybecreatedfromhumanbodythat
touchestheboard.Itmaydodamagetotheboardcircuit.

BIOSareaprogramlocatedonaFlashmemorychiponacircuitboard.Itisusedto
initializeandsetuptheI/Operipheralsandinterfacecardsofthe system,which
includestime,date,harddiskdrive,theISAbusandconnecteddevicessuchasthe
videodisplay,diskettedrive,andthekeyboard.Thisprogramwillnotbelostwhen
youturnoffthesystem.
TheBIOSprovidesamenudriveninterfacetotheconsolesubsystem.Theconsole
subsy stemcontainsspecialsoftware,calledfirmwarethatinteractsdirectlywiththe
hardwarecomponentsandfacilitatesinteractionbetweenthesystemhardwareand
theoperatingsystem.
TheBIOSdefaultvaluesensurethatthesystemwillfunctionatitsnormalcapability.
Intheworstsituationtheusermayhavecorruptedtheoriginalsettingssetbythe
manufacturer.
AllthechangesyoumakewillbesavedinthesystemRAMandwillnotbelostafter
poweroff.
Whenyoustartthesystem,theBIOSwillperformaselfdiagnosticstestcalledPower
OnSelfTest(POS T)forallthe attacheddevices,accessories,andthesystem.Press
the[Del]keytoentertheBIOSSetupprogram,andthenthemainmenuwillshowon
thescreen.
