• Before using the device please read the

operating instructions!

• The instructions are part of the product and

contain important information on getting

started with and using the device.

• Always keep the instructions in a safe place

for reference!

• They must also be passed on in the event the

device is transferred to a third party.

2. SAFETY INFORMATION

The warranty becomes void in the event that

damage is caused as a result of non-compliance

to these instructions. We assume no liability

for consequential damage, material damage or

injury to persons as a result of non-compliance

to the safety instructions and improper use of

the steam steriliser.

• Children can not properly assess the risks

associated with electrical equipment. Never

allow children to use electrical equipment

unsupervised.

• Clean the device with a damp cloth before

using for the rst time.

• The device is only suitable for the sterilisation

of baby bottles, accessories and milk pumps

and only for normal domestic use.

• The device may only be used for the disinfec-

tion of baby bottles and their accessories as

well as other boil-proof items (please follow

the applicable instructions of the relevant

product). Incorrect usage of the device may

expose the user to considerable risk.

• The heating jacket becomes very hot during

operation and hot steam ows through the

holes in the cover. To prevent burning and

scalding, please do not touch these parts

during operation.

• Only move and clean the device once it has

cooled down.

• Pull the mains connector out of the socket

when the device is not being used and before

removing device parts.

• Do not remove the cover if the water is still

boiling.

• Always stay near the device when it is in

operation.

• Repairs may only be carried out by authorised

specialists.

• Only use the components supplied for the

device.

• Keep away from children and animals.

• The device may not be used if visibly dama

ged.

• To prevent hazards in the event the power

cable for this device is damaged, it must be

replaced by the manufacturer, its customer

service department or similarly qualied

persons.

• Persons (including children) not capable of

using the device safely because of their physi

cal, sensory or mental aptitude, or because of

their lack of experience or knowledge, should

not use this device unsupervised or without

being under instruction from a person in

charge.

• Do not touch hot parts with bare hands as this

presents a risk of burning.

• The device is only suitable for use in dry

rooms.

• The device must be on a dry, level surface

when being used.

• Never completely ll the device with water

and never immerse in water or other liquids.

• Only switch the device on when it is lled with

water.

• Do not move the device whilst it is being used.

• Do not open the device immediately after the

disinfection process, allow it to cool down

instead. Bottles and other disinfected items

are also very hot. Allow them to cool down for

approx. 5 minutes before removing them.

3. BEFORE DISINFECTION

Important! All items to be disinfected

must be washed cleanly and be free of

any food leftovers.

thedevicemustbeallowedtocooldownfor

at least 8-10 minutes so that the thermostat

resets to its original position.

after sterilising your items.

Note! After the disinfection process

has started, it can only be stopped by

disconnecting the power supply.

5. CLEANING AND CARE

CLEANING

Ensure that the device is disconnected from the

mains and cooled down before cleaning. Never

clean the device when it is hot. Do not use

abrasive cleaning agents or pot scrubbers, since

this would affect the surface of the device.

After each use, clean the device and the cover

with a moist cloth.

Attention! Never submerge the device

or the power cable in water or in other

liquids!

DE-LIMING

After frequent use (depending on hardness of

water) there is a lime scale build-up on the

hotplate on the oor of the device. This lime

scale must be removed regularly to ensure that

the device functions properly, else disinfection

may be signicantly impaired.

Note! In case of slight lime scale

build-up we recommend the use of

normal vinegar as described below.

Commercially available lime solvents

are used for heavier build up – in any

event, the manufacturer‘s instructions

must be heeded.

DE-LIMING WITH VINEGAR

1. Before de-liming, ensure that the device is

disconnected from the mains and has cooled

down.

2. Mix 100 ml of vinegar with 100 ml of hot wa

ter and pour onto the hotplate on the oor of

the device.

3. Allow approx. 30 minutes to take eect, and

then pour out. Finally clean the device with a

moist cloth.

Important! Do not use abrasive clea-

ning agents or pot scrubbers.

6. NOTES ON DISPOSAL

Old units, marked with the

symbol as illustrated, may not be

disposed of in the household

rubbish. You must take them to a

collection point for old units (enquire at your

local authority) or the dealer from whom you

bought them. These agencies will ensure

environmentally friendly disposal.

7. GUARANTEE

In the case of a defect, please return the

device together with the receipt and original

packing material to the point-of-sale.
