Assembly Quick Guide

LuBann D.I.Y. Wooden Barn Doors are made of american

hardwood knotty alder. Open knots or cracks in the

knots are common natural characteristics of

knotty alder. People may appreciate its natural rustic

appearance for these. We do provide matching wood

filler to cover them if you choose so.

If any door plank(s) arrive(s) warpped, bowed or cupped

causing the door assembly unnecessarily difficult,

please contact us immediately.

Before Assembly:

Lay out door planks A, Bs, C on a flat surface.

assemble the door slab by fitting T&G. Make sure the top

and bottom ends are flush. Adjust T&G spacing to get the

correct width.Check to make sure the door slab is sqaure

2: lay out overlay planks and insert screws into the pilot holes.

Don’t overtight the screws. Press the boards together

closely without gaps when tightening the screws.

3: Repeat the step on the other side.

4: We recommend to sand the surface before stain the door.

Test stains or paints on scraps first.
