Vielen Dank für Ihre Wahl dieses SOLO

Qualitätsprodukts.

Der Anbau Heckenschere 69 00 227 wird

ohne Schaftrohr ausgeliefert. Er eignet sich für

die im Kap. 6.1 "Anbau" aufgeführten SOLO-

Motorsensen mit Loopgriff, 25 cm

und 29 cm

Motor, Schaftrohr -Durchmesser 24 mm und mit

starrer Antriebswelle (Sternverzahnung 7-

zähnig).

Der Anbau Heckenschere 69 00 228 wird

mit Schaftrohrunterteil ausgeliefert. Er ist

ausschließlich zur Montage an die SOLO

Motorsensen 129LTS mit teilbarem Schaft

vorgesehen. Durch einfaches Austauschen der

Schaftrohrunterteile mit montiertem Werkzeug

ist hier ein einfacher, schneller

Werkzeugwechsel ermöglicht.

In dieser Gebrauchsanweisung werden nur

die zusätzlichen Aspekte dargestellt, in denen

sich die Verwendung des Basisgerätes mit

Anbau Heckenschere von der ursprünglichen

Verwendung der Motorsense unterscheiden.

Grundsätzlich sind alle in der

Gebrauchsanweisung der Motorsense

aufgeführten Angaben, insbesondere die

Sicherheitsvorschriften zu beachten.

Wir wünschen Ihnen für viele Jahre

3. Sicherheitsvorschriften

Beachten Sie unbedingt die Anweisungen und Sicherheitsvorschriften in dieser Gebrauchsanweisung und in

der Gebrauchsanweisung der verwendeten Motorsense. Grundsätzlich gelten bei der Verwendung des

Anbaugerätes auch alle Hinweise und Vorschriften in der Gebrauchsanweisung der Motorsense. Folgende

Sicherheitsvorschriften gelten zusätzlich zu den in der Gebrauchsanweisung der Motorsense aufgeführten Angaben.

3.1 Allgemeine Sicherheitshinweise

Verwenden Sie dieses Gerät mit besonderer Vorsicht, da mit hoher Messergeschwindigkeit gearbeitet wird und

das Messer durch die Schaftlänge der Motorsense eine große Reichweite hat.

Das Missachten der Sicherheitshinweise kann lebensgefährlich sein. Halten Sie sich auch an die

Unfallverhütungsvorschriften der Berufsgenossenschaften. Diese Gebrauchsanweisung und die Gebrauchsanweisung

der Motorsense müssen ständig am Einsatzort verfügbar sein. Sie sind von jeder Person zu lesen, die mit Arbeiten mit

und an dem Gerät (auch zur Wartung, Pflege und Instandsetzung) beauftragt ist.

x Das Gerät Anbau Heckenschere darf nur an die im Kap. 6 "Arbeitsvorbereitung - Anbau" aufgeführten

zulässigen SOLO Motorsensen montiert werden. Die Verwendung dieses Anbaugerätes an andere Basis-

Motorgeräte ist nicht zulässig.

x Wenn Sie zum ersten Mal mit einem Anbau Heckenschere arbeiten, lassen Sie sich den sicheren Umgang von

dem Verkäufer zeigen und erklären.

x Das Gerät darf nur zu dem im Kap. 7“Anwendung“ angegebenen Verwendungszweck und nur in der Art der

dort angegebenen Anwendungsbeispielen eingesetzt werden.

x Es dürfen nur Zubehör- und Ersatzteile (insbesondere das Schneidemesser) verwendet werden, die ausdrücklich

vom Hersteller für dieses Gerät empfohlen sind.

x Bei der Arbeit, bei der Reinigung und bei allen Wartungsarbeiten sind Schutzhandschuhe zu tragen.

3.2 Beim Gerätetransport

x Stellen Sie bei jedem Transport - auch beim Transport zu Fuß von einem Arbeitsplatz zum anderen - immer den

Motor ab und schieben Sie den Messerschutz über das Schneidemesser.

x Das Motorgerät ist ausbalanciert am Schaftrohr zu tragen, Schneidemesser nach hinten. Achten Sie darauf, dass

der heiße Schalldämpfer nicht in Kontakt zu Ihnen kommen kann.

3.3 Vor dem Starten und beim Starten

Zusätzlich zur Überprüfung des kompletten Motorgerätes auf betriebsicheren Zustand sind folgende Punkte vor dem

Starten zu kontrollieren:

x Feste, sicherere Montage des Anbaugerätes

x Schneidemesser und das komplette Anbaugerät in einwandfreien Zustand

x Mit ausreichend Schmiermittel versehen

x Schneideklingen geschärft

Beim Starten darf das Schneidemesser keine Gegenstände und nicht den Boden berühren.

3.4 Vor dem Arbeitsbeginn und beim Heckeschneiden

x Das Gelände vor Arbeitsbeginn gegen Personen die unbemerkt in Arbeitsnähe gelangen könnten, sichern.

Insbesondere bei hohen Hecken, die nicht übersehen werden können ist darauf zu achten, dass sich niemand

dahinter befinden kann.

x Vor dem Schneiden der Hecke diese überprüfen. Steine, Metallteile und andere feste Gegenstände, die sich in

der Hecke befinden können, entfernen.

x Vor allen Modifikationen am Anbaugerät (z.B. Ändern der Winkelposition, Nachfüllen von Schmiermittel) immer

erst den Motor abstellen und den Zündkerzenstecker abziehen.

Niemals bei laufendem Motor das Schneidemesser berühren. Ist das Schneidemesser durch einen Gegenstand

blockiert, sofort den Motor abstellen und den Zündkerzenstecker abziehen; dann erst den Gegenstand aus

dem Schneidemesser entfernen.

x Das Motorgerät bei der Arbeit immer mit beiden Händen festhalten. Tragegurt verwenden.

x Auf Hindernisse und mögliche Stolperfallen wie Baumstümpfe, Wurzeln und herabfallendes Schnittgut achten.

x Besondere Vorsicht bei Hecken mit Drahtzäunen. Mit dem Schneidemesser nicht an den Draht kommen.

x Achten Sie darauf, dass das laufende Schneidemesser auch beim Starten nicht in Kontakt mit dem Boden, Sand,

Steinen und andern harten Gegenständen insbesondere beim Arbeiten in Bodennähe geraten kann.

x Immer auf sicheren Stand achten. Niemals auf einer Leiter oder anderen ungeeigneten Podesten beim Arbeiten

stehen. Zum Erreichen größerer Höhen ist ausschließlich eine hydraulisch gehobene Kabine zulässig.

x Bei drohenden Gefahren und wenn Personen oder Tiere sich dem Arbeitsgebiet nähern sofort den Motor

abstellen. Seien Sie bei angelegtem Gehörschutz besonders aufmerksam, da das Wahrnehmen von

gefahrankündigenden Geräuschen (Schreie, usw.) eingeschränkt ist.

x Achtung, beim Gashebel Loslassen und beim Motor Abstellen laufen die Schneidmesser noch kurze Zeit weiter.

6. Arbeitsvorbereitung - Anbau

Vor der Montage (und späteren Demontage) des

Anbau Heckenschere ist der Motor der

Motorsense abzustellen und der

Zündkerzenstecker abzuziehen. Am Anbau

Heckenschere ist während der Montage und

späteren Demontage immer der Messerschutz

über dem Schneidemesser aufzusetzen.

A) Anbau Heckenschere 60 00 227 ohne

mitgeliefertes Schaftrohrunterteil

Der Anbau Heckenschere 60 00 227 ohne

Schaftrohrunterteil ist ausschließlich zur

Montage an

SOLO Motorsensen mit

x 25 cm

und 29 cm

Motor,

x Loopgriff,

x 24 mm Schaftrohrdurchmesser und

x mit starrer Antriebswelle

(Sternverzahnung 7-zähnig)

zugelassen. Dies sind die Modelle:

x SOLO 129L

x SOLO 129LTS

Früheren Modelle der Typen:

SOLO 124, SOLO 126 und SOLO 127

wurden, je nach Serienstand, zum Teil ebenfalls

mit starren Antriebswellen ausgeliefert. Fragen

Sie bei Unsicherheiten Ihren Fachhändler.

Zum Anbauen ist das werkseitig am Schaftrohr

montierte Getriebe komplett mit

Arbeitswerkzeug und Schutz abzunehmen.

x Die beiden Schrauben (1) an den Habschellen

des Schutzes aufschrauben und Schutz

abnehmen. Achten Sie darauf alle Schrauben,

Muttern und Scheiben für den Wiedereinbau

des Schutzes sicher aufzubewahren.

x Die drei Schrauben (2) am Getriebe lockern

und Getriebe vom Schaftrohr schieben.

x Die Spannschraube Schaftrohranschluss (10)

lockern.

x Den Anbau Heckenschere unter leichten

Drehbewegungen bis zum Anschlag auf das

Schaftrohr stecken.

x Den Anbau Heckenschere entsprechend dem

Gasgriff der Motorsense ausrichten.

x Die Spannschraube Schaftrohranschluss (10)

und danach die Fixierschraube (11)mit

einem Torx-T25-Schlüssel festziehen.

B) Anbau Heckenschere 60 00 228 mit

mitgeliefertem Schaftrohrunterteil

Der Anbau Heckenschere 60 00 228 mit

mitgeliefertem Schaftrohrunterteil ist

ausschließlich zur Montage an die SOLO

Motorsensen 129LTS mit teilbarem Schaft

vorgesehen.

Montage des Schaftrohrunterteils in das

Winkelgetriebe des Anbau Heckenschere:

x Spannschraube Schaftrohrunterteil (10) und

Fixierschraube (11) am Winkelgetriebe des

Gerätes Anbau Heckenschere lockern.

x Schaftrohrunterteil mit dem Ende der

sternverzahnten Antriebswelle bis zum

Anschlag in das Winkelgetriebe stecken.

x Schaftrohrunterteil durch Drehen ausrichten,

so dass die Befestigungsbohrungen zum

Anschluss an das Sachaftrohroberteil seitlich

links und rechts zur Ausrichtung des

Heckenschermessers liegen.

x Die Spannschraube Schaftrohranschluss (10)

und danach die Fixierschraube (11)mit einem

Torx-T25-Schlüssel festziehen.

Durch einfaches Austauschen der

Schaftrohrunterteile mit montiertem Werkzeug

ist jetzt ein einfacher, schneller

Werkzeugwechsel ermöglicht.

Zum Trennen der beiden Schafthälften:

x Die Spannschraube (1) lockern.

x Den Fixierstift (2) durch Ziehen entriegeln.

x Die untere Schaftrohrhälfte (3) mit

Antriebswelle aus der Kupplungsmuffe

herausziehen.

Beim Zusammenbau ist zu beachten, dass die

Hohlwelle im Schaftrohr-Unterteil in den

Vierkant im Antriebswellen-Oberteil eingreift.

Gegebenenfalls muss beim Zusammenstecken

das Schaftrohrunterteil leicht hin und her

gedreht werden. Der Fixierstift (2) muss in der

Bohrung im Schaftrohr hörbar einrasten.

Danach Spannschraube (1) festziehen.

Tipp: Durch die beidseitige Bohrung kann das

Schaftrohrunterteil um 180° gedreht eingebaut

werden. Ins Besondere beim Heckenschnitt über

Kopf ist dies von Vorteil.

Hinweis: Speziell für die Verwendung mit der

Motorsense SOLO 129LTS mit teilbarem Schaft

bietet SOLO als folgend Zubehörteile an:

x Schaftrohrverlängerung (SOLO Best. Nr.

69 00 608, Verlängerung um ca. 800 mm) für

eine besonders große Reichweite.

x Extra kurzes Schaftrohrunterteil (SOLO Best.

Nr. 69 00 265, ca. 210 mm) für eine besonders

handliche Arbeitsweise.

C) Allgemeine Anbauhinweise für beide

Typen

Die gewünschte Winkelposition des

Schneidemessers kann nach Lockern der

Spannschraube Einstellwinkel (6) stufenlos

eingestellt werden. Die Winkelposition immer

über den Schwenkhebel (7) einstellen, niemals

das Schneidemesser zum Einstellen der

Winkelposition anfassen. Die Spannschraube

Einstellwinkel (6) wieder festziehen.

Tipp: In manchen Arbeitssituationen kommt es

dem Anwender besonders entgegen, dass sich

der Loopgriff an der SOLO - Motorsense sehr

leicht um 90° auf dem Schaftrohr nach Lockern

der Schnellspannschraube Umstecken lässt.

7. Anwendung

7.1 Anwendungsbereiche

Der an eine zugelassene Motorsense montierte

Anbau Heckenschere darf nur zum Schneiden

von Hecken, Sträucher, Gestrüpp und Buschwerk

mit nur dünnen Ästen und Zweigen verwendet

werden. Die Verwendung des Gerätes für

andere Zwecke ist nicht zulässig - Unfallgefahr!

7.2 Allgemeine Anwendungshinweise

x Nicht im Schleifbereich der Kupplung

arbeiten.

x Stärkere Äste und Zweige zuvor mit einer

Astschere abschneiden.

x Bei starken Bewuchs in mehreren Stufen

schneiden und zwischen den Arbeitsgängen

jeweils die stärkeren Äste und Zweige mit

einer Astschere abschneiden.

Tipp: Bei der Verwendung der SOLO Motorsense

129LTS bietet SOLO als Zubehör eine

Schaftrohrverlängerung (SOLO Best. Nr.

69 00 608) an. Damit wird eine sehr große

Reichweite erzielt und das Schneiden von sehr

hohen Hecken ermöglicht.

8.1 Allgemeine Betriebs- und

Wartungshinweise

Nach einer Einlaufzeit von ca. 5 Betriebsstunden

müssen alle erreichbaren Schrauben und

Muttern auf Festsitz überprüft und evtl.

nachgezogen werden.

Kontrollieren Sie vor jedem Arbeitsbeginn das

gesamte Gerät auf betriebssicheren Zustand.

8.2 Schmiermittel einfüllen

Ca. alle 20 Betriebsstunden das Messergetriebe

(8), das Winkelgetriebe (5) sowie das Getriebe-

Mittelteil (12) mit SOLO "Spezial-Getriebe-

Fließfett" (Best.-Nr. 00 83 180) nachschmieren.

Messergetriebe:

Mit einer Fettpresse ca. 20 g Getriebefließfett

am Schmiernippel Messergetriebe (8) eingeben.

(3-5 Hübe).

Winkelgetriebe:

Mit einer Fettpresse ca. 10 g Getriebefließfett

am Schmiernippel Winkelgetriebe (5) eingeben.

(2-3 Hübe).

Getriebe-Mittelteil:

Mit einer Fettpresse ca. 20 g Getriebefließfett

am Schmiernippel Getriebe-Mittelteil (12)

eingeben. (3-5 Hübe).

8.3 Reinigung und Pflege

Beachten Sie bei der Reinigung und Pflege die

Sicherheitsvorschriften.

Nach der Arbeit das gesamte Gerät von Schmutz

und Schnittgut reinigen. Keine

lösungsmittelhaltigen Reinigungsmittel

verwenden.

Das Messer einölen oder mit Pflegemittel (z. B.

"WD 40") einsprühen. Motorgerät noch einmal

kurz starten und Schneidewerkzeug kurz

antreiben, damit sich das Öl bzw. Pflegemittel

gut verteilt.

Bei längerem Einsatz das Messer auch während

der Arbeit ölen oder mit Pflegemittel

einsprühen.

Bei Stilllegung und Aufbewahrung unbefugten

Zugang - besonders durch Kinder ausschließen.

8.4 Messer schärfen

Das Nachschärfen der Schneidemesser darf nur

von der autorisierten Fachwerkstatt

durchgeführt werden.

x Schärfwinkel: 45°

x Immer zur Schneidkante schärfen

x Nur im Vorwärtsstrich arbeiten

x Nach dem Schleifen Grat mit Abziehstein

entfernen, Messer mit Pflegemittel

einsprühen.

Im Interesse der ständigen Weiterentwicklung

Congratulations for choosing this SOLO

quality product.

The brushcutter attachment 69 00 227 is

delivered without a shaft tube. It is designed for

the SOLO brushcutter with loop handle

described in chapter 6.2 "Installation", with

25cm

delivered with a lower shaft tube. It is solely

designed for installation on the SOLO

brushcutter 129LTS with sectional shaft. A

additional aspects of the base tool and the

installed hedge trimmer as opposed to the

instructions detailing the use of the brushcutter.

found to be faulty in material or workmanship within the prescribed guarantee period after the date of

3. Safety regulations

Always observe all general and safety instructions in this manual and those in the operating instructions of

the brushcutter used. Generally, all the brushcutter instructions and regulations also apply when using the

attachment. The following safety instructions apply additionally to the safety instructions detailed in the

brushcutter manual.

3.1 General safety instructions

Use this tool with care. The cutting blades work at high velocity and have a wide range due to the brushcutter

shaft length.

Ignoring the safety instructions can result in loss of life. Also observe the accident prevention requirements of your

professional body or the Health and Safety at Work Act. Both these instructions and those of the brushcutter must

always be available on site. They must be read by each person who comes into contact with the tool (even for service

and maintenance, care and when replacing parts).

x The hedge trimmer attachment must only be attached to the permissible SOLO brushcutters as noted in chapter

6 " Preparation for work- Installation". The use of this attachment is not permitted on any other power tool.

x If this is the first time you work with a hedge trimmer attachment, it is advisable to ask your dealer to explain to

you the safe handling of this equipment.

x Only use this tool for the purpose intended and specified in chapter 7, "Utilisation".

x Only use accessories and spare parts (particularly for the cutters) recommended by the manufacturer.

x Always wear safety gloves when working, cleaning or maintaining the attachment.

3.2 Transporting the tool

x Always switch off the engine and protect the cutters with blade sheath when transporting the tool. Even when

transporting by foot from one work place to the next.

x The power tool is perfectly balanced when carried by the shaft with cutting blades facing backwards. Prevent all

contact with the hot silencer.

3.3 Before starting and when starting

In addition to checking that the power tool is safe for operation, check the following points before starting:

x tight, safe installation of the attachment.

x excellent condition of the complete attachment and cutting blades.

x adequate lubrication.

x sharpness of the cutting blades.

When starting, the cutting blades must never strike any object or the ground.

3.4 Before commencing work and when hedge trimming

x Clear unauthorised people from the working area. Pay particular attention when cutting high hedges, to ensure

that no persons are behind that hedge.

x Check the hedge before cutting it. Remove any metal or stone objects which might be found in the hedge.

x Switch off engine and remove spark plug cap before making adjustments to the attachment, for example when

changing the angle of the blades or refilling the lubricant.

x Never touch the cutting blades when the engine is running. Should the cutting blades be obstructed by

an object, immediately switch off the engine and remove the spark plug cap. Only then is it safe to

remove the object from the cutting blades.

x Always hold the power tool with both hands when working. Use the shoulder strap.

x Take care not to trip up on tree stumps, roots or cuttings.

x Take special care with hedges incorporating wire fences. Never touch the wire with the cutting blades.

x Ensure that the cutting blades never contact with ground, sand, stones or other hard objects whilst in operation.

Take special care when working at ground level.

x Always maintain a stable position. Never stand on a ladder or other unsuitable platforms whilst working. Only

the use of a hydraulic working platform is permissible for working at greater heights than can be reached from

the ground.

x Immediately switch off the engine in dangerous situations or when people or animals enter the working area. Be

especially aware when wearing ear defenders, as warning sounds (i.e. screams etc.) are harder to hear.

x Warning, cutting blades continue to run a short time after the engine has been switched off.

series. If in doubt, please check with your dealer.

For installation, completely remove the gearbox

and shield, located on the operational side of

the shaft tube.

x Release both screws (1) on the half clamps of

the shield and remove the shield. Take care

to ensure that all screws, nuts and washers

are retained in a safe place ready for

reinstallation of the shield.

x Release the three gearbox screws (2) and

push the gearbox off the shaft tube.

x Release the shaft tube connection straining

screw (10).

x Place the hedge trimmer attachment on to

the shaft tube by gently rotating it until it

reaches the end stop.

x Orient the hedge trimmer attachment in line

with the brushcutter fuel handle.

x Tighten the shaft tube connection straining

screw (10) followed by the fixing screw (11)

with a Torx T25 spanner.

with a Torx T25 spanner.

A simple, quick tool change is made possible as

the lower shaft tube can now be replaced with

the tool head attached.

To separate the shaft sections:

x Release the straining screw (1).

x Pull out the fixing pin (2).

x Pull the lower shaft tube (3) with gearbox

from the female coupling.

When assembling ensure that the hollow shaft

in the lower shaft tube mates with the quadrant

in the upper part of the drive shaft. When

assembling it may be necessary to lightly jiggle

the lower shaft tube. The fixing pin (2) must

audibly lock into position in the shaft tube

holes.

Ten tighten the straining screw (1).

Tip: The holes on both sides enables the lower

shaft tube to be attached either way, i.e. turned

through 180°. This is of particular advantage if

hedge trimming above head height.

Note: The following SOLO spare parts are

designed especially for use with the brushcutter

SOLO 129LTS with sectional shaft:

x Shaft tube extension (SOLO part no. 69 00

608, extension of about 800 mm) for a very

long reach.

x Extra short lower shaft tube (SOLO part no.

69 00 265, approx. 210 mm) for close work.

C) General fitting information for both

types

The desired cutting blade angle can be attained

by releasing the cutting edge angle straining

screw (6). Always set the desired angle via the

pivoting lever (7). Never touch the blades when

setting the cutting blade angle. Tighten the

cutting edge angle straining screw (6).

Tip: Some users find it particularly useful that

the loop handle on the SOLO brushcutter can

easily be turned by 90° on the shaft tube due to

the tensioning toggle.

7. Application

7.1 Application range

Hedge trimmer attachments, attached to

approved brushcutters may only be used to cut

hedges, shrubs, undergrowth and brush with

slender twigs and branches. The use of this tool

for any other application is not permitted – risk

of accidents.

7.2 General Information

x Never operate in the slipping range of the

clutch.

x Before use, remove thicker branches and

twigs with lopping shears.

x Where there is stronger growth, work in

stages lopping off the stronger branches and

twigs as you go.

8.1 General operating and

maintenance instructions

After a running-in time of app. 5 hours, all

accessible screws and nuts (except the

carburettor adjusting screws) must be checked

for tightness and they must be retightened, if

required.

8.2 Topping up lubricant

Re-lubricate the blade gearbox (8), angular gear

(5) and clutch mid-section (12) with SOLO

"Special gearbox flow grease" (part no.

00 83 180) approx. Every 20 operating hours.

Cutter gearbox:

With a grease gun, press about 20g gearbox

flow grease into the blade gearbox grease

nipple (8). (3-5 shots).

Angular gear:

With a grease gun, press about 10 g gearbox

flow grease into the angular gear grease nipple

(5). (2-3 shots).

Clutch mid-section:

With a grease gun, press about 20g gearbox

flow grease into the clutch mid -section grease

nipple (12). (3-5 shots).

8.3 Cleaning and maintenance

Observe the safety instructions when cleaning

and maintaining.

Following these steps, clean the tool to ensure it

is free from dirt and clippings. Never use

cleaning solutions containing solvents.

Oil the cutter or spray with a product such as

WD 40. Briefly start the engine and let the

cutting blades run to thoroughly distribute the

oil.

Oil or spray the cutting blades when in use for

longer periods.

Restrict access to the tool when in storage and

not being used. Keep away from children.

8.4 Sharpening the cutting blades

Sharpening the cutting blade must only be

carried out by an authorised agent.

x Sharpening angle: 45°

x Always sharpen towards the cutting edge

x Only work with a forward stroke

x Following sharpening, remove the burr with

a whetstone and spray the blade with a

product such as WD 40.

3. Consignes de sécurité

Respectez impérativement les instructions et consignes de sécurité contenues dans le présent manuel

d’utilisation ainsi que dans le manuel d’utilisation de la débroussailleuse utilisée. Par principe, toutes les

remarques et consignes contenues dans le manuel d’utilisation de la débroussailleuse valent aussi pour

l’utilisation de l’engin additionnel. Les consignes de sécurité suivantes valent en plus des indications données dans

le manuel d’utilisation de la débroussailleuse.

3.1 Consignes de sécurité générales

Utilisez cet engin avec la plus grande prudence à cause des vitesses de lame élevées lors du travail et du rayon

d’action important de la lame dû à la longueur du tube de transmission de la débroussailleuse.

Le non-respect des consignes de sécurité peut entraîner la mort. Respectez également les consignes de prévention

d’accident des caisses de prévoyance des accidents. Le présent manuel d’utilisation et le manuel d’utilisation de la

débroussailleuse doivent toujours être disponibles sur le lieu d’utilisation. Ils doivent être lus par toute personne

devant effectuer des travaux avec ou sur l’engin (même s’il s’agit de travaux de maintenance, d’entretien ou de

réparation).

x Le taille-haies additionnel doit uniquement être monté sur les débroussailleuses SOLO autorisées figurant

dans le chapitre 6 « Préparation du travail – montage d’équipement ». L’utilisation de cet engin additionnel sur

d’autres engins à moteur de base n’est pas autorisée.

x Si c’est la première fois que vous travaillez avec un taille-haies additionnel, faites-vous montrer et expliquer

par le vendeur comment l’utiliser de façon sûre.

x L’engin doit être utilisé exclusivement dans le but indiqué au chapitre 7 « Utilisation » et seulement dans le style

des exemples d’utilisation qui y sont donnés.

x Seuls des accessoires et pièces de rechange (particulièrement pour la lame) expressément recommandés par le

fabricant pour cet appareil doivent être utilisés.

x Portez des gants de protection pour le travail, le nettoyage et tous les travaux de maintenance.

3.2 Lors du transport de l’engin

x Lors de chaque transport – même pour le transport à pied d’un lieu de travail à l’autre – coupez toujours le

moteur et poussez la protection de lame sur la lame.

x L’engin à moteur doit être porté par le tube de transmission de façon équilibrée, la lame pointant vers les bas.

Veillez à ce que le silencieux brûlant ne vous touche pas.

3.3 Avant et pendant le démarrage

Après avoir vérifié que l’ensemble de l’engin à moteur est en état de fonctionner de façon sûre, les points suivants

doivent être contrôlés avant le démarrage :

x Montage solide et sûr de l’engin additionnel

x La lame et l’ensemble de l’engin additionnel sont dans un état irréprochable

x Du lubrifiant a été appliqué en quantité suffisante

x La lame de coupe a été affûtée

Lors du démarrage, la lame ne doit être en contact avec aucun objet ni avec le sol.

3.4 Avant le début du travail et pendant la taille des haies

x Avant de commencer le travail, assurez qu’aucune personne ne pourra s’introduire à proximité de la zone de

travail sans être remarquée. Tout particulièrement dans le cas de haies hautes derrières lesquelles il est

impossible de voir, veillez à ce que personne ne puisse se trouver derrière.

x Contrôlez ces haies avant de les tailler. Retirez les pierres, morceaux de métal et autres objets durs pouvant se

trouver dans la haie.

x Avant toute modification sur l’engin additionnel (p.ex. modification de la position d’angle, rajout de lubrifiant),

coupez toujours d’abord le moteur et déconnectez la cosse de bougie d’allumage.

Ne touchez jamais à la lame lorsque le moteur tourne. Si la lame est bloquée par un objet, coupez immédiatement

le moteur et déconnectez la cosse de bougie d’allumage, retirez seulement ensuite l’objet de la lame.

x Tenez toujours l’engin fermement à deux mains pendant le travail. Utilisez un harnais.

x Prêtez attention aux obstacles et aux objets sur lesquels vous pourriez buter tels que les souches d’arbre, les

racines ou les branches taillées qui tombent.

x Une prudence particulière s’impose pour les haies longées par des fils barbelés. La lame ne doit pas entrer en

contact avec le fil barbelé.

x Veillez, même au démarrage, à ce que la lame en marche ne puisse pas entrer en contact avec le sol, du sable,

des pierres ou d’autres objets durs, particulièrement lors du travail à proximité du sol.

x Veillez toujours à être bien en équilibre. Ne montez jamais sur une échelle ou sur tout autre promontoire non

adapté pour travailler. Pour le travail à une certaine hauteur, seule l’utilisation d’une cabine à élévation

hydraulique est admissible.

x En cas de danger imminent ou lorsque des personnes ou des animaux s’approchent de la zone de travail, coupez

immédiatement le moteur. Si vous portez une protection acoustique, soyez particulièrement attentif, la
