In DRY mode , when room temperature becomes lower
than temp.setting+2

C, unit will run intermittently at LOW
speed regardless of FAN setting.
Under the mode of auto operation, air conditioner will
automatically select Cool or Heat operation according to
room temperature. When FAN is set to AUTO the air
conditioner automatically adjusts the fan speed according
to room temperature.
In FAN operation mode , the unit will not operate in COOL or
HEAT mode but only in
FAN mode, AUTO is not available in
FAN mode. And temp. setting is disabled. In FAN mode,
sleep operation is not available.

mayinterruptthesignal,sothedistancebetweenthecontrollerandindoorunit

Basic Operation Airow Direction Adjustment

Whenadjustingtheapbyhand,turntheunitoffrst.

Whenhumidityishigh,condensatewatermightdrainthroughtheairoutlet
ifallverticallouversareadjustedtotheleftorright.

Itisadvisablenottokeepthehorizontalapinthedownwardpositionfora
longtimeinCOOLorDRYmode,orcondensatewatermightcollect.

Whenrestartingafterturningoffremotely,theremotecontrollerwill

decreaseby1°C.Ifyouholdthebuttondownitwilldecreaserapidly.
Selectyourdesiredtemperature(16-30°C).
Note:WhenAUTOmodeisselected,thetemperaturesettingcannotbeadjusted.

Duringheating,theunitmaygointoa“De-ice”–thisisnormalandtheunit
shouldbeleftoperatingduringthisperiod.Steammaybevisibleattheoutdoor
unitasitautomaticallyremovesanyicebuildup.Oncethisfunction
iscompleteyourunitwillrevertbacktoheating.

1. Operation Mode
InCOOL,DRYmode
1hourafterSLEEPmodestarts,thetemperaturewillbecome1°Chigher
thanthetemperaturesetting.Afteranotherhourthetemperaturerisesby
another1°C.Theunitwillrunforafurther6hours.Thetemperatureishigher
thanthetemperaturesetting,sothattheroomtemperaturewon’tbetoocold
foryoutosleep.
2. In HEAT mode
1hourafterSLEEPmodestarts,thetemperaturewillbecome2°Clowerthan
thetemperaturesetting.Afteranotherhour,thetemperaturedecreasesbya
further2°C.Afteranother3hours,thetemperaturewillrisebyanother1°C.The
unitwillrunforafurther3hours.Thetemperatureislowerthanthetemperature
setting,sothattheroomtemperaturewon’tbetoohotforyoutosleep.
3. In AUTO mode
Theunitoperatesinthecorrespondingsleepmodefortheautomatically
selectedoperationmode.
4. In FAN mode
TheSLEEPfunctiondoesnotoperateinFANmode.
5. Set the fan speed change when sleeping
Ifthefanspeedishighormedium,youcansetittolowerthefan
speedafteryougotosleep.Ifitisalreadysetatlowfanspeed,
itisunchanged.
Note
WhentheTIMERfunctionisset,thesleepingfunctioncan’tbe
setup.Afterthesleepfunctionissetup,ifyouresetthe
TIMERfunction,thesleepfunctionwillbecancelled.
1. POWER Operation
Whenyouneedrapidheatingorcooling,youcanusethisfunction.
Press the
buttontoenteradditionaloptions.Pressthe
repeatedlyuntil
displays.Whenthedisplaycyclesto , will
ash.Thenpress
,toconrm.
Repeattheprocessabovetocancel.
2. QUIET Operation
Youcanusethisfunctionwhensilenceisneededforrestorreading.
PresstheQUIETbuttonandtheremotecontrollerwillshow
.
PresstheQUIETbuttonagainandthequietfunctionwillbecancelled.
Note:
DuringPOWERoperation,inrapidHEATorCOOLmode,theroommayshow
uneventemperaturedistribution.ExtendeduseoftheQUIETfunctionwillprovide
completeandefcientcoolingofyourroom.
Timer On-Off Operation
1. Afterunitstarts,selectyourdesiredoperationmode.
2. PresstheTIMERbuttontochangetoTIMERmode.Everytimethebuttonis
pressed,thedisplaychangesasfollows:
Remotecontroller:
ThenselectyourdesiredTIMERmode(TIMERONorTIMEROFForTIMER
ON-OFF).“ON“or“OFF“willash.
3. Press / buttontosetthetime.
Pressthebuttonforeachtime,settingtimeintherst12hoursincreased
by0.5houreverytimeandafter12hours,increasedby1houreverytime.
Pressthebuttonforeachtime,settingtimeintherst12hours
decreasedby0.5houreverytimeandafter12hours,decreasedby
1houreverytime.Itcanbeadjustedwithin24hours.
4. Conrmtimersetting
Afteradjustingthetime,pressthe
buttonandconrmthetime.The
ONorOFFbuttonwillnotashanymore.
5. Canceltimersetting
Pressthetimerbuttonrepeatedlyuntilthetimedisplaydoesnotshow.
Hints:
Afterreplacingbatteriesorapowerfailure,thetimesettingshouldbereset.
