Stain-resistant Scratch-resistant

Plados sinks do stand everyday aggressive

substances and food very well. Dirt and

stains can be removed by rinsing and gen-

tly wiping the sink.

The high percentage of mineral charges

present in the mixture makes Plados sin-

ks very resistant to scratches, marks and

wear.

Hygienic, easy to cleanNot discolours through time

Colour is the identifying element of Plados

sinks. Plados sink’s colours remain bright

and unchanged in the course of time, even

in case of frequent and prolonged exposu-

re to sunlight.

Since the surface is not porous, the sink

can be quickly cleaned by means of a stan-

dard detergent and the simple action of a

towel or sponge. The sink is always fresh,

clean and hygienic.

Plados sinks are made of compound ma-

terial. They are heat-insulating and noise-

absorbing, that is, they keep the water hot

longer and reduce the water noise of the

mixer.

A mixture of atomized quartz and methyl methacrylate

is the magic ingredient of Plados Quartz Sinks. A sink

in Plados Ultraquartz easily withstands the daily action of

hot pans, sharp objects and aggressive agents.

TRANSLUCENT COLOURS

Plados, the ﬁ rst of all manufacturing companies that has

managed to recreate the "crystal effect" in its translucent

Sinks. Translucent sinks are made from a mixture rich in

atomized quartz, giving the feeling of the crystal, a material

which has always been considered very hygienic and very

easy to clean.

PASTEL COLOURS

Warm, delicate and involving, the new Plados pastel

collection, represent a touch of colour and warmth to a

The metallescent particles, present in the mixture along

with crystals of quartz and granite, create a metalized

ﬁ nish on the surface of the sink. With Cool colours, and

a satin surface effect, the Ultrametal sink is suitable for

modern settings, matching stainless steel appliances often

found in the kitchen. An Ultrametal sink is easy to clean,

very hygienic and has a great resistance to scratches,

"ARIAPURA" sinks are dirt-proof. Unsightly limescale won’t be able to deposit. Be-

cause of this reason sinks are easier to clean as less detergents are required, making

the latest Plados sinks “eco-friendly”. “ARIAPURA” active agent is in the sink’s mass;

this means that the agent action is maintained throughout the sink’s life, even in case

of surface usury and scratches.

ANTI-POLLUTING ACTION

The active “ARIAPURA” component destroys bad smells and pollutants substances

often found in the kitchens, caused by heating, air conditioning, cooking processes

(generating smokes and vapours), cigarettes, particulate matter, etc... Basically, the

How does it works - “The Lotus effect”

After several researches and tests, our company’s

laboratories have succeed in reproducing the way

“Lotus” leaves react towards dirt. The Lotus ﬂ ower

religions, probably because although it is often

immersed in muddy waters, it is pollution and dirt

proof. Because of this reason Lotus has been studied

in order to reproduce on our sinks surfaces its way to

How does the antibacterial protecion work?

Plados has been the very ﬁ rst company to propose

antibacterial sinks. The active function proposed by

Plados is based on natural silver ions, and gives a con-

stant protection against bacterial proliferation. Bacte-

ria can cause mould, stains and bad smells. Thanks to

the active function of the antibacterial element, which

is incorporated in the sink’s structure during manufac-

turing and lasts for the whole life of the sink, freshness

and hygiene last longer.

Plados antibacterial protection is colourless and

odourless; it doesn’t reduce its action with the sink

use or after time.

Bad smells that sometimes originate in sinks could

be caused by bacterial proliferation, mostly in warm-

With LUX series PLADOS rethinks the concept of a kitchen

sink. The basins disappear under two sliding chopping boards

made of tempered crystal. With the chopping-boards closed

a new elegance and linearity is given to the worktop and so to

the whole kitchen.

“ARIAPURA” identiﬁ es the sinks provided with Tita-

nium Dioxide nanoparticles. This natural compo-

nent, in presence of natural or artiﬁ cial light, activates a

phenomenon called “PHOTOCATALYSIS”. This process

is very similar to the clorophyllian photosynthesis opera-

ted by trees and plants, and it transforms organic and
