The X-Pro1
From  rmware version 1.1, the X-Pro1 o ers image processing
tailored speci cally to M mount lenses attached using this adapter.
Users of earlier versions can download the latest  rmware from
http://www.fujifilm.com/support/digital_cameras/software/#firmware
(if you do not have access to a computer, support is available from
the local distributor listed in the “FUJIFILM Worldwide Network
material provided with your camera).
Notes on use
The adapter increases the e ective focal length of the lens by about
1.5× (35mm format equivalent); for example, a focal length of
50mm increases to 75mm.
The focus distance displayed by the lens may di er from the actual
focus distance.
Do not attempt to use this product with incompatible lenses or
with other mount adapters. Failure to observe this precaution could
result in product malfunction or in damage to the camera, adapter,
or lens. Damage caused by ignoring this warning is not covered
under warranty.
Do not drop or subject to strong physical shocks.
Do not retract extendable lenses while they are mounted on the
camera body.
Keep the signal contacts clean.

The Gauge
The gauge is used to determine whether an M mount lens can be
used with the adapter. Refer to Figure 1 for the parts of the gauge.

Use part A to determine the diameter of the rear lens element
as shown in Figure 2. The lens can not be used if the diameter is
greater than the width of part A.

Rotate the lens focus ring to in nity and use part B to determine
how far the rear lens element projects from the back of the lens
as shown in Figure 3. The lens can not be used if the rear lens
element contacts part B.
Note: The gauge is intended as a guide only. Do not apply force to
lens elements or the lens body. Failure to observe this precaution
could damage the lens.

When the product is not in use, replace the lens caps and store out of direct
sunlight. Sunlight focused by the lens can cause  re or burns.
Do not touch the threads at the front or rear of the lens. The edges
could cause injury.
Cease use if the lens is damaged. Broken edges could cause
injury.
Attaching the adapter

Mount the adapter on the camera.
Keeping the camera mount index on the adapter aligned with
the mount index on the camera body, place the adapter on the
camera and rotate it clockwise until it clicks into place.

Attach a lens.
Keeping the mount index on the lens aligned with the lens mount
index on the adapter, place the lens on the adapter and rotate it
clockwise until it clicks into place.
Removing the adapter
1
Remove the lens.
Keeping the release button pressed to (a) in Figure 1, rotate the
lens counterclockwise.

Remove the adapter.
Pressing the camera lens release button, rotate the adapter
counterclockwise.
