Installation
The manufacturer will not be held li-
able for any damages resulting from
in-correct or improper installation.
The minimum safety distance between
the cooker top and the extractor hood
is 650 mm (some models can be in-
stalled at a lower height, please re-fer
to the paragraphs on working dimen-
sions and installation).
Check that the mains voltage corre-
sponds to that indicated on the rating
plate xed to the inside of the hood.
For Class I appliances, check that the
domestic power supply guarantees
adequate earthing.
Connect the extractor to the exhaust
ue through a pipe of minimum diame-
ter 120 mm. The route of the ue must
be as short as possible.
Do not connect the extractor hood to
exhaust ducts carrying combustion
fumes (boilers, replaces, etc.).
If the extractor is used in conjunction
with non-electrical appliances (e.g.
gas burning appliances), a sufcient
degree of aeration must be guaran-
teed in the room in order to prevent
the backow of exhaust gas. The
kitchen must have an opening com-
municating directly with the open air in
order to guar-antee the entry of clean
air.
Use
The extractor hood has been de-
signed exclusively for domestic use to
elimi-nate kitchen smells.
Never use the hood for purposes other
than for which it has been designed.
Never leave high naked ames under
the hood when it is in operation.
Adjust the ame intensity to direct it
onto the bottom of the pan only, making
sure that it does not engulf the sides.
Deep fat fryers must be continuously
monitored during use: overheated oil
can burst into ames.

This appliance is not intended for use
by persons (including children) with
reduced physical, sensory or mental
capabilities, or lack of experience and
knowledge, unless they have been giv-
en supervision or instruction concern-
ing use of the appliance by a person
responsible for their safety.
Children should be supervised to en-
sure that they do not play with the appli-
ance.
Maintenance
Switch off or unplug the appliance from
the mains supply before carrying out
any maintenance work.
Clean and/or replace the Filters after the
specied time period (Fire hazard).
Clean the hood using a damp cloth and
a neutral liquid detergent.
The symbol on the product or on its pack-
aging indicates that this product may not be
treated as household waste. Instead it shall
be handed over to the applicable collection
point for the recycling of electrical and elec-
tronic equipment. By ensuring this product
is disposed of correctly, you will help prevent
potential negative consequences for the envi-
ronment and human health, which could oth-
erwise be caused by inappropriate waste han-
dling of this product. For more detailed infor-
mation about recycling of this product, please
contact your local city ofce, your household
waste disposal service or the shop where you
purchased the product.

INSTALLATION
INSTALLATION – AIR OUTLET
VERSION
This operation must be carry on by the
service agent or similarly qualied per-
sons in order to avoid a hazard.
The Hood is tted with a system that
allows the direction of the air outlet
to be adjusted.
On installation, the Hood is set up
with the air outlet in the Top position
(g.1).
To modify the position of the air out-
let, remove the Comfort Panel (see
paragraph on Maintenance).
Remove the Grease Filters (see the
paragraph on Maintenance).
Remove the prole after unfastening
the 4 screws that x it to the Hood
(g.2).
Remove any Activated Charcoal
Filters (see the paragraph on Mainte-
nance).
By removing the 6 upper screws,
the 6 rear screws and the 2 screws
on the inside of the Hood, it is pos-
sible to turn the Motor Unit with the
bracket attached so that the air out-
let points to the side (g.3).
To direct the air outlet to one of the
various sides (g.4) unfasten from
the inside the screws that x the up-
per part containing the motor to the
rest of the Hood.
Turn the upper part as required, to
the right or left, and then refasten
the screws removed as above from
the inside (g.5).
Replace the prole, using the 4
screws removed as above.
Replace the lters.
Replace the Comfort Panel.

DRILLING THE SUPPORT SUR-
FACE AND FITTING THE HOOD
The Hood can be installed directly on
the underside of wall-mounted units
(650 mm min. from the Cooker Top)
using the snap-on side supports and
screws provided.
Create an opening in the bottom
of the wall mounted unit, as shown
(g.1), leaving a distance of at least
20mm from the front.
Fit the two hood support brackets
(g.2) using the screws 12a (3.5 x 16)
at a distance B of min. 85mm - max.
165mm. The brackets must be tted
differently according to the size of the
hood to be mounted.
Remove the Comfort Panel (see the
paragraph on Maintenance).
Remove the metal grease lters one
at a time, releasing the fasteners pro-
vided (see the paragraph on Mainte-
nance).
Remove the prole after unfastening
the 4 screws that x it to the Hood
(g.4).
Remove any Activated Charcoal
Filters (see the paragraph on Mainte-
nance).
Insert the Hood until it connects with
the snap-on side Supports. (g.3)
Lock it in position by tightening
screws Vf from underneath the
Hood. (g.3)
It is now possible to fasten the hood
to the wall-mounted unit using the
screws 12a (3.5 x 16) provided.
(g.4).
Replace the prole, using the 4
screws removed as above.
Replace the lters.
Replace the Comfort Panel.




CONNECTIONS
DUCTED VERSION AIR EX-
HAUST SYSTEM
When installing the ducted version,
connect the hood to the chimney us-
ing either a exible or rigid pipe ø 150
or 120mm, the choice of which is left to
the installer.
To install a ø 150 pipe
To install the dumper 10
Fix the pipe in position using sufcient
pipe clamps (not supplied).
To install a ø 120 pipe
To install a ø 120 mm air exhaust
connection, insert the reducer ange
9 on the dumper 10.
Fix the pipe in position using sufcient
pipe clamps (not supplied).
Remove any activated charcoal l-
ters.
RECIRCULATION VERSION AIR
OUTLET
Cut a hole ø 125 mm in any shelf that
may be posi-tioned over the hood.
Insert the ange 9 on the hood body
outlet.
Connect the ange to the outlet on
the shelf over the hood using a ex-
ible or rigid pipe ø120 mm.
Fix the pipe in position using sufcient
pipe clamps (not supplied).
Fix the directional grille 8 on the recir-
culation air outlet using the 2 screws
12e (2,9 x 12,7) provided.
Ensure that the activated charcoal l-
ters have been inserted.






ELECTRICAL CONNECTION
Connect the hood to the mains
through a two-pole switch having a
contact gap of at least 3 mm.

USE
The hood can be switched on pushing directly onto the requested speed without
rstly having to select 0/1 button
KEY LED FUNCTIONS
L
0/1 Light Turns lighting on and off.
T1
0/1 Motor on First speed.
When pressed for about 1 seconds the motor is
switched off.
T2
Speed on Second speed.
T3
Speed on Third speed.
T4
Speed Fixed Max. speed
Flashing Intensive speed.
Suitable for the strongest cooking vapours and
odours. The function becomes active when the but-
ton is pushed for about 2 seconds. After 10 minutes
of functioning it turns off automatically. This function
can be interrupted by means of pressing any of the
buttons.
S1
Led Fixed Indicates that the Metal grease lters saturation
alarm has been triggered, and the lters need to be
washed. The alarm is triggered after 100 working
hours. (Reset; check the Maintenance-paragraph)
Flashing indicates that the activated charcoal odour lter
satura-tion alarm has been triggered, and the lter
has to be re-placed; the metal grease lters must
also be washed. The activated charcoal odour lter
is triggered after 200 working hours. (Activation and
Reset; check the Mainte-nance-paragraph)

REMOTE CONTROL
The appliance can be controlled using a re-
mote control powered by a 1.5 V carbon-zinc
alkaline batteries of the standard LR03-AAA
type (not included).
Do not place the remote control near to heat
sources.
Used batteries must be disposed of in the
proper manner.
CLEANING THE COMFORT PANELS
Pull the Comfort Panel to open it.
Disconnect the panel from the hood canopy
by sliding the xing pin lever.
The comfort panel must never be washed in
a dishwasher.
Clean the outside by using a damp cloth
and neutral liquid de-tergent.
Clean the inside as well by using a damp
cloth and neutral de-tergent; do not use wet
cloths or sponges, or jets of water; do not
use abrasive substances.
When the above operation has been com-
pleted, hook the panel back to the hood
canopy and close it by turning the knob in
the opposite direction.
CLEANING OF THE METAL CAS-
SETTE FILTERS
Alarm reset
Switch off the lights and extractor motor.
Press button T3 for at least 3 seconds, until
the leds start to ash.

The lters are washable and must be cleaned
at least every 2 months of operation, or more
frequently for particularly heavy usage.
Pull the Comfort Panel to open it.
Remove the lters one at a time by push-
ing them towards the back of the group and
pulling down at the same time.
Wash the lters, taking care not to bend
them. Allow them to dry before retting.
When retting the lters, make sure that the
handle is visible on the outside.
MAINTENANCE

ACTIVATED CHARCOAL FILTER
(RECIRCULATION VERSION)
The lter is not washable and cannot be
regenerated. It must be replaced when
led S1 ashes or at least every 4 months.
The alarm signal will only light up when
the extractor motor is switched on.
Alarm signal activation
In Recirculation version Hoods, the
Filter saturation alarm can be enabled
on installation or at a later date. Turn
the Lights and the suction Motor off.
Disconnect the Hood using the Main
switch or the double-pole switch on
the mains power supply.
Restore the connection by pressing
and holding T1.
Release the button. All ve LEDs are
turned on.
Within 3 seconds press T1 until LEDs
T1 and T4 ash in conrmation:
-LED ashes twice - Activated char-
coal lter saturation alarm ENA-
BLED.
-LED ashes once - Activated char-
coal lter saturation alarm DISA-
BLED.
Reset the alarm signal
Switch off the lights and extractor
motor.
Press button T3 for at least 3 sec-
onds, until the leds start to ash.
Replace the Filter
Pull the Comfort Panel to open it.
Remove the metal grease lters
Remove the saturated activated
carbon lter by releasing the xing
hooks
Fit the new lter by hooking it into its
seating
Replace the metal grease lters.
LIGHT REPLACEMENT
20 W halogen light.
Extract the lamp from the lamp holder
by pulling gently.
Replace with another of the same
type, making sure that the two pins
are properly inserted in the lamp
holder socket holes.
