1. Select“Capture”tabontheIriSmartEye2000Monoapplication.
2. Click“Start”buttontoactivatethecameratocaptureirisimage.
3. Keepyoureyewideopen,lookstraightahead,andaligntheeyesothatitisseenin
thecenterofcameramirror.(Closingtheothereyemayhelpwith
thealignment.)
4. Approachthecameraslowly fromadistanceofabout5cm(2inches)awayfrom
thefrontofcamera.TheIriSmartEye2000Monosoftwarewillsay“Keepmoving
please”whenitdetectsthefirstin‐focusirisimage.(Thecomputermusthavea
soundcardandaspeakerturned
ontohearthemessage.)
5. Oncethemessage,“Keepmovingplease”,isheard,itisbesttokeepmoving
steadilytowardsthecameratosatisfythefocusdistanceuntilthesystemsounds
with“shutterclick”, signalingthatithasselectedaqualifiedirisimageand
completedcapturingprocess.
6. Ifnon
‐qualifiedirisimageiscaptured,anerrormessageof“Noframewas
qualified.Pleasetryagain.”willappearonthecomputer.
