INTRODUCTION
The VTech® Sleepy Time Travel Mobile is a wonderful mobile
for babies on-the-go. Featuring soft twirling animal clouds, a glow
light and soothing music, this mobile will calm baby into a peaceful
slumber. Including a clamp and detachable claw, it will easily attach
to most cots, pushchairs and baby carriers.

WARNING
All packing materials, such as tape, plastic sheets, packaging locks,
removable tags, cable ties, cords and packaging screws are not part
of this toy, and should be discarded for your child’s safety.
NOTE
Please save this Instruction Manual as it contains important
information.
\GETTING STARTED
BATTERY INSTALLATION
1. Make sure the unit is turned OFF.
2. Locate the battery cover on the
back of the electronic module. Use a
screwdriver to loosen the screws.
3. If used batteries are present, remove these batteries from the
unit by pulling up on one end of each battery.
4. Install 3 new AA (AM-3/LR6) batteries following the diagram
inside the battery box. (The use of new alkaline batteries is
recommended for maximum performance).
5. Replace the battery cover and tighten the screw to secure.
Unlock the packaging locks:
Turn the packaging lock anticlockwise
several times.
Pull out and discard the packaging lock.

WARNING:
Adult assembly required for battery installation.
Keep batteries out of reach of children.
IMPORTANT: BATTERY INFORMATION
Insert batteries with the correct polarity (+ and -).
Do not mix old and new batteries.
Do not mix alkaline, standard (carbon-zinc) or rechargeable
batteries.
Only batteries of the same or equivalent type as recommended
are to be used.
Do not short-circuit the supply terminals.
Remove batteries during long periods of non-use.
Remove exhausted batteries from the toy.
Dispose of batteries safely. Do not dispose of batteries in fire.
RECHARGEABLE BATTERIES:
Remove rechargeable batteries from the toy before charging.
Rechargeable batteries are only to be charged under adult supervision.
Do not charge non-rechargeable batteries.
Disposal of batteries and product
The crossed-out wheelie bin symbols on products and
batteries, or on their respective packaging, indicates they
must not be disposed of in domestic waste as they contain
substances that can be damaging to the environment and
human health.
The chemical symbols Hg, Cd or Pb, where marked,
indicate that the battery contains more than the specied
value of mercury (Hg), cadmium (Cd) or lead (Pb) set out
in Battery Directive (2006/66/EC).
The solid bar indicates that the product was placed on the
market after 13th August, 2005.
Help protect the environment by disposing of your product
or batteries responsibly.

DEMO TAG
The demo tag should be removed automatically when the product
is taken out of the packaging. This will activate normal play. If the
demo tag is still in position, please remove the plastic strip from the
back of the product before placing on a cot, pram or baby carrier.
With the Sleepy Time Travel Mobile, safety comes rst.
Attach this toy out of the reach of your child. To prevent possible
injury by entanglement, remove this toy when your child starts
trying to get up on to their hands and knees in a crawling position.
Age range of mobile - Birth to 5 months.
The mobile is intended for visual stimulation and is not intended
to be grasped by a child.
Always attach all provided fasteners (strings, straps, clamps,
etc) tightly and according to the instructions. Check frequently.
Attach only to cots with sturdy rails, spindles or sides.
WARNING: Do not use this mobile on cots or travel cots with
fabric sides.
WARNING: When using on car seats make sure that the
mobile is above your child’s face height.
Do not add additional strings or straps.
To ensure your child’s safety, this product should be assembled
by an adult.
Ensure you use the correct attachment and secure the mobile
correctly according to the instructions.
NEVER use this product in a motor vehicle. Death or serious
injury can occur from hard objects in the event of a motor
vehicle accident.

ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS
1. Attach the mobile to the bottom of
the electronic module. You will hear
the mobile click into place when
inserted correctly.
2. Attach the mobile support post to
cots with rails that are between
1.02cm and 3.4cm wide. Twist the
green sleeve to tighten the clamp
to the cot rail. Pull slightly on the
support post to make sure the clamp
has been securely fastened. Please
check the support post frequently to
ensure it is still secure.
3. Attach the electronic module to the
support post by pressing the small
green button on the support post
while sliding the electronic module
onto the support post. Check to
make sure the electronic module is
attached securely to avoid injuries.
To ensure your child’s safety, adult assembly is required. Please
ensure that the cot attachment clamp is securely locked into
position to avoid injury. Follow the instructions below carefully
and make sure that the final assembly is correct.

4. To attach the animal clouds, loop the
rope through the holes in the leaves
and hook in place on the inside of the
leaves.
5. To use the mobile as a travel mobile,
remove the electronic module from
the mobile support post by pulling
gently on the electronic module while
pressing the green button on the
support post.
6. Thread the velcro like attachment
strap through the slot on the top of
the electronic module, then secure
the velcro like attachment strap
together.
7. Use the velcro like attachment strap
or the claw attachment to attach the
mobile to baby carriers and prams.
Always check to make sure the
mobile is attached securely to avoid
injuries.

PRODUCT FEATURES
1. O/ModeSwitch
To turn the unit ON, slide the Off /
Mode Switch to the Turning Mode
( ) or the Stationary Mode ( )
position. To turn the unit OFF, slide the
Off / Mode Switch to the OFF position.
2. TimerSwitch
Slide the Timer Switch to the 10, 20
or 30 minute position.
3. VolumeButtons
To adjust the volume, press the
VOLUME + and VOLUME – buttons.
4. NightLightButton
Press the Night Light Button to
turn the night light ON or OFF. This
feature only works when the mobile
is connected to the mobile support
post.
5. SoundSensor
The Sleepy Time Travel Mobile is equipped with a special
sound sensor. To preserve battery life, the sound sensor will
only function when the mobile is connected to the mobile
support post. Once the selected time setting has ended, the
unit will automatically power down. The sensor will reactivate
the program when it detects your baby’s cry for several seconds
without interruption.

6. AutomaticShutO
To preserve battery life, the Sleepy Time Travel Mobile will
automatically power down after the selected time has ended.
The unit can be turned on again by pressing any button.
Note: If the unit repeatedly powers down quickly or the light up
button fades out, we suggest changing the batteries.
ACTIVITIES
1. O/ModeSwitch
Slide the Off / Mode Switch to turn
the unit on. You will hear a soothing
phrase followed by relaxing music.
Either set the mobile to the Turning
Mode or the Stationary Mode.
2. LightUpButton
Press the Light Up Button to
change to the next song or melody.
Hold down the light up button to hear
a short tune. The light up button will
fade in and out with the sound when
the electronic module is removed
from the mobile support post.

CARE & MAINTENANCE
1. Keep the unit clean by wiping it with a slightly damp cloth.
2.
Keep the unit out of direct sunlight and away from any direct heat
sources
.
3. Remove the batteries when the unit is not in use for an extended
period of time.
4. Do not drop the unit on a hard surface and do not expose the
unit to excess moisture.
5. The songbirds are hand washable. Please remove the electronic
module and follow the care instructions on the label.

TROUBLESHOOTING
If for some reason the program/activity stops working or
malfunctions, please follow these steps:
1. Turn the unit OFF.
2. Interrupt the power supply by removing the batteries.
3. Let the unit stand for a few minutes, then replace the batteries.
4. Turn the unit back ON. The unit will now be ready to play again.
5. If the unit still does not work, replace with an entire set of new
batteries.
