Adhesion of dusts of paper and foreign materials may reduce the lifetime of the head
and the platen. When they adhere, clean the head according to the following
procedures:
Printer head cleaning
Cleaning should be done when any one of the following conditions occurs.
Defectiveness of printing quality
Defectiveness of some column in the printing area
Paper feeding and retreating with high noise
Printer head cleaning steps are as follows:
1) Cut off the power supply of the thermal printer module
2) Cleaning should be done after the printer head has been completely cooled.
3) Wipe off the heating element part of the head surface lightly with cotton swabs which
athyl-alcohol is applied.
Rubber platen cleaning
Cleaning should be done when any one the following conditions occurs.
Defectiveness of printing quality
Defectiveness of some column in the printing area
Paper feeding and retreating with high noise
Rubber platen cleaning steps are listed as follows:
1) Cut off the power supply of the thermal printer module, and press the lever then the
rubber platen will be opened
2) Cleaning should be done after the printer head has been completely cooled.
3) Wipe off the heating element part of the platen surface lightly with cotton swabs which
athyl-alcohol is applied.
Note:
1. Cleaning should be done when the power supply is off.
2. Do not use bear hand and metal articles to touch the surface of the printer head. Do
not use anything that may destroy the printer head, rubber platen, and heating
element, such as tweezers.
3. Do not use organic solvents to clean the printer head, such as gasoline, acetone,
etc.
4. Please make sure to set the platen and perform the check action after the cleaning
liquor has been completely dried.
5. When storing the printer for the long-term (equal or longer that six months at the room
temperature) store it with the platen separated from the thermal head. If the
rubber parts of the platen and the head have continued to directly contact for a long
term, the rubber part will be deformed and may affect the quality of printing.
6. Do not store the printer in damp places and places with drastic temperature variations.
Condensation on the printer may cause troubles such as thermal head damages
and action failures.
7. Do not store the printer in dusty places. Using the printer dusts adhered on it may cause
troubles to the printing and actions.
3. Warranty
1.1. This thermal printer comes with an 12-month warranty after the date of
production(printer serial No.). Any failure caused by the customer side in the warranty
period and after expiry of the warranty shall be serviced with charge. The maintenance
service can be available in five year after the date of discontinuation of producing this
printer.
1.2. Our company reserves the right to make changes to the product, without notice, to
