TEMPO/ASSIGN MODE
TEMPO SYNC
Synchronizes the speed (RATE) of the modulation
produced by the LFO section as well as the delay
time (TIME) of the EFFECT section to the tempo.
ASSIGN
MODE
UNISON 1: The lowest note that you pressed is
played with four voices.
UNISON 2: The unison effect changes according to
how many keys you press.
• 1 key: four voices play in unison.
• 2 keys: two voices each play in unison.
• 3 or more keys: same as POLY 2.
POLY 1: One voice plays per key press.
This is suitable for arpeggios.
POLY 2: One voice plays per key press.
This is suitable for portamento.
OCTAVE/KEY HOLD
OCTAVE Shifts the pitch of the keyboard in units of one
octave.
KEY HOLD Turns the hold function on/off for the notes you
press within the keyboard area.
ARPEGGIO
This unit features an arpeggiator that can be played over four
octaves (with an upper limit).
ARPEGGIO Turns the arpeggio on/off.
ARP MODE
Selects how the arpeggio works.
UP: Plays notes in the order you press the keys.
U+D: Repeats the arpeggio going up and down.
DOWN: Plays notes in the reverse order that you
press the keys.
RANDOM: Plays the notes of the keys you press
at random.
CHORD: Plays all of the notes at the same time
that you press them.
ARP STEP Selects the length of one note for each step.
PORTAMENTO
This section makes the pitch change smoothly between notes.
PORTAMEN-
TO
Adjusts how long it takes for the pitch to change
(or how quickly the pitch changes).
TYPE
1: The pitch changes within the time specified
in PORTAMENTO, regardless of the distance
between the keys you press.
2: The pitch changes at the speed specified in
PORTAMENTO, regardless of the distance
between the keys you press.
LEGATO
Portamento is only applied when you play in
legato style (playing one key and then playing the
next while holding down the first one).
* When ASSIGN MODE is UNISON 2, POLY1, or
POLY 2, the instrument always operates in
LEGATO OFF mode.
PATCH
NAME Specifies the name of the patch.
DISPLAY Displays the patch name.
DEC/INC Selects the next (previous) patch.
EFFECT/DELAY/REVERB
EFFECT TYPE Selects the effect type.
TONE Specifies the character of the effect.
DEPTH Specifies the depth of the effect.
DELAY TYPE Switches the delay type.
TIME Adjusts the delay time.
LEVEL Adjusts the depth of delay.
REVERB TYPE Switches the reverb type.
TIME Specifies the reverb time.
LEVEL Specifies the reverb volume.
BEND/MODULATION
BEND RANGE Sets the width (degree of change) when using
pitch bend.
BEND GAIN Sets the BEND RANGE ratio to expand the pitch
bend width.
BEND SENS
VCO Sets the pitch bend amount.
BEND SENS
VCF
Sets how much the pitch bend changes the filter
(LPF).
MOD SENS
VCO
Sets how much the pitch changes when you
control the modulation.
MOD SENS
VCF
Sets how much the filter (LPF) changes when you
control the modulation.
EDIT Screen
CIRCUIT MOD (Circuit Modication)
(AMOUNT)
Simulates the calibration trimmer on the motherboard.
Raising the value creates more differences in calibration
between the voices, adding a unique kind of unevenness
or expressiveness to the sound.
The state of the calibration starting point (0) controlled by
the trimmer differs with the [CONDITION] knob settings.
+127 (large degree of
degradation)
255 (large degree of
unevenness)
-128 (small degree of
degradation)
CONDITION
(degradation over time)
