Trip odometer. To measure distance the car
has two independent trip odometers T1 & T2
always running.
Press (A) for 2 seconds to reset displayed
odometer.
Quickly press (A) to toggle T1/T2.

Light flashes until the brake is fully applied
and then glows continuously.
To release
Ignition mode 0 or higher.
Depress clutch or brake.

Pull the control.
Automatic release
Engage gear and drive away. (Automatic trans-
mission cars require seatbelt buckled).
With a gear selected and accelerator pedal de-
pressed the brake releases when you start driv-
ing.
Fuel gauge. Fuel filler lid location arrow.

(diesel models: 7 litres).

Driving range on current fuel reserve
Twist control (7) to display.

Driving range on current fuel reserve is not a
fuel gauge but an approximation of available
range based on driving conditions.
Clock.Turn control (A) clockwise or anti-
clockwise to adjust clock.

READ Push to access messages.
Push again to confirm message.

Pull release handles separately to fold left
and/or right backrest.
Make sure rear head restraints are in upright po-
sition. Fold backrests.

Adjust sound
Adjust BASS, TREBLE, FADER, BALANCE,
Dolby Pro Logic II* and SUB-WOOFER* by
pressing button.
Set by turning button.

CD
Change CD track with left or right arrow.
Select CD* with up or down arrow.

Eject
Press to eject current CD.
Press and hold to eject all CDs in CD chang-
er*.

CD changer.* Select CD 1-6.

Search stations with left or right arrow.
Store up to 20 stations by press & hold 0-9 in
FM1 and 0-9 in FM2, confirmed in display.

Autostore the 10 strongest stations.
Press AUTO for 2 seconds. AUTOSTORE is
displayed during search.
Select 0-9 to play a radio station after
storing.

Select AM, FM1, FM2, CD or MODE. Use
MODE to activate AUX and adjust AUX
source volume.

STOP & REMOVE REMOTE
Depress clutch or brake.
Locks door/boot and activates alarm.
Unlocks doors/boot and deactivates alarm.
Unlocks the boot.
Lights up sideview mirrors/approach lights and interior,
foot, number plate, indicator and parking lights.
“Panic” button. Press for 3 seconds in an emergency
situation.
START
Place the remote in the ignition slot.
Park the car and push Start/Stop button to
stop the engine.

When cold starting, your engine will idle at a higher speed for a short time.
Gently push the remote. The remote ejects.
Automatic transmission must be in position P.

Simply press START/STOP button to start the
engine.

Automatic relock occurs if no door/boot is opened within 2 minutes after unlock.

Enter the car with the PCC e.g. in your pocket.

Monitor the car within range by pressing the but-
ton and wait for only 5 seconds. Press when out of
range, the PCC remembers if the car is locked or
unlocked.
Green light: The car is locked.
Yellow light: The car is unlocked.
Red light: The alarm has been triggered.
Flashing alternating red lights: Someone might
be in the car.
WARNING! Do not adjust steering wheel while
driving.
When cold starting, your engine will idle at a higher speed for a short time.
ADJUSTING THE STEERING WHEEL REFUELLING
Push to open fuel filler lid.
Park the car and push Start/Stop button to
stop the engine.
With keyless drive the PCC just needs to be
in the car. Keep the PCC e.g. in your pocket
all the time. The car unlocks automatically
when you open the door.
When you have parked the car just close the
door and press the outside door handle but-
ton to lock the car.
Simply press START/STOP button to start the
engine.

AUTOMATIC CONTROL
AUTO mode maintains all controls and makes
driving easy with optimised air quality.

The power outlets in front/rear centre console
operate in ignition mode I. The power outlet on
the right-hand side in the boot* is always ac-
tive.
Use of the 12 V outlet in the boot with engine
off can drain the battery.

Blower speed.

Defroster to quickly remove mist on wind-

Adjust the temperature by turning. The set
temperature is displayed.

The controls for Road Traffic Information are
easy to reach behind the steering wheel while
driving. The RTI also comes with a remote.
Press ENTER to start the system.
