Important information!
24 VAC 2 may only be used as voltage feed for external
󰆅
equipment requiring a 0-10 V control signal, or as voltage
feed for additional modules.
24 VAC 1 must not be connected to 24 VAC 2, 24 VDC, or
󰆅
other equipment that use a 0-10 V control signal or to signal
ground GND.
The two separate 24 VAC circuits may never be connected
󰆅
with each other or with protective earth.
The total power load of 24 VAC 1 and 24 VAC 2, respectively,
󰆅
must not exceed 50 VA.

Expansion module
The expansion module is mounted in the electric cabinet on the intended rail. If there is no room, the module can be
installed in an external, enclosed cabinet and connected with a longer modular cable.
Set the switches on the front of the expansion module to the WCS position
Connect a modular cable between HP CRM Exp.out and HPC EM Exp.in
Connections of expansion module for WCS operation:
Temperature input, T1: Submersible sensor (heat exchanger return line)
Temperature input, T2: -
Analogue output 0-10 V, AO1: Signal to pilot valve
Relay, DO1: Signal to circulation pump (no-potential closure, maximum 6 A)
Exp.in: Connection from HPC RM
Exp.out: Connection to possible additional module.
Submersible sensor
Connect to T1 and GND
Circulation pump
Connect to DO1.1 to 24 VAC 2.1
Connect DO1.2 to the contactor coil (the relay coil) and further to 24 VAC 2.2
Pilot valve
Connect AO1 to the signal input of the pilot valve
Connect GND to pilot valve GND. If GND is missing in the pilot valve, connect GND to 24 VAC 2.2 somewhere in
the system. It is most appropriate to jumper terminals 144 and 146 in the controller cabinet.
Connect the pilot valve terminal G to 24 VAC 2.1
Connect the pilot valve terminal G0 to 24 VAC 2.2.

Installation for TWC function (tap water control)
Application
In the TWC mode, the expansion module ensures that outgoing hot tap water and
heat water circulation have a sufficiently high temperature, to prevent the pre-
sence of Legionella bacteria.
TWC operation is achieved by setting the switch according to the figure.
Required accessories
