Thank you for purchasing ACTi products and solutions. The following documentation covers
basic installation instructions of your device.
NOTE: The accuracy of the analytics algorithm may be affected by different environmental
factors or inappropriate installation. Please follow the procedures in this guide. ACTi will
not be liable for inaccuracies resulting from the aforesaid causes.
Installation Height
The accuracy of your device greatly depends on the camera installation. The recommended
installation parameters are as follows:
Installation Height: 4 ~ 6 meters
Tilt angle: 15° ~ 30°
Detection Range Table
The maximum video content analytics (VCA) range varies depending on events. The key point is
to take the object (human / vehicle) distance into consideration. The maximum range is as below:

How to Connect Digital Input / Output Devices
Digital Output or Alarm Output
The internal device is equivalent to a switch, no polarity
Maximum Load Current is 1A, Maximum Battery Voltage is D30V or AC24V
A, B completely hung up, no connection to the earth.
Digital Input or Alarm Input
Short circuit the Alarm In and GND to trigger the alarm.
