This symbol denotes a possible hazard which could cause injury or
damage to the appliance.
This symbol indicates a potential burning hazard. Please be especially
careful at all times here.

Please read the following instructions and keep them on hand for
later reference.
1. This appliance can be used by children 8 years and older, as
well as by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental
abilities or with lack of experience and/or knowledge, if they are
supervised or if they have been instructed with regard to safe use

of the appliance and have understood the dangers that can result
from use of the appliance.
2. Children must not play with the appliance.
3. Children are not allowed to perform cleaning and user maintenance,
unless they are 8 years of age or older and are supervised.
4. Keep the appliance and the power cord out of the reach of
children under 8 years of age.
5. CAUTION – parts of this product can become very hot and
cause burn injuries! Particular caution is required if children or
persons at risk are present.
6. Connect the appliance only to an AC power source of the voltage
specified on the rating plate.
7. Do not operate this appliance with an external timer or remote
control system.
8. Do not operate the appliance on or near a hot surface.
9. The appliance is designed for indoor use only. Place the appliance
on a suitable dry and level surface.
10. Leave sufficient space between the appliance and walls, furniture
and flammable objects such as curtains. There should be at
least 10 cm of space on the sides and at least 30 cm above the
appliance.
11. Never leave the appliance unattended when in operation.
12. Only use accessories recommended by the manufacturer. The
use of other accessories might cause damage to the appliance
or lead to accidents.
13. Do not pull the appliance by the power cord. Do not place the
power cord across the edge of the worktop. Do not wrap the power
cord around the appliance and avoid kinking of the cable.
14. Ensure that the power cord does not come into contact with hot
components of the appliance. Do not touch hot parts. Always use
oven gloves.
15. The appliance becomes hot during operation. Use oven gloves.
Never cover the appliance while it is in operation.
16. While the appliance is on, ensure that the room is properly
ventilated.

17. The appliance does not shut off automatically. Therefore, always
switch off the appliance on the ON/OFF switch after use and pull
the mains plug out of the socket.
18. Do not immerse the appliance and power cord in water or other
liquids.
19. Before using the appliance, ensure that all parts are dry.
20. Before moving, cleaning or putting away the appliance, allow it
to cool down to room temperature. Before moving, cleaning or
otherwise handling the appliance, disconnect the power cord
from the socket.
21. The appliance is intended for household use only, or for similar
areas of use, such as
kitchenettes in businesses, offices or other workplaces,
agricultural enterprises,
for use by guests in hotels, motels or other lodgings,
in private guesthouses or holiday homes.
22. Check the plug and the power cord regularly for wear and
damage. In case of damage to the power cord or other parts,
please send the appliance for inspection and/or repair to our after
sales service.
23. Unauthorized repairs can result in serious risks to the user and
will void the warranty.
24. In spite of the integrated timer, through which the appliance will
be switched off after the selected cooking time, the appliance
must also be switched off via the ON/OFF-switch and the mains
plug must be unplugged after the cooking time.
25. Never cover the appliance with aluminium foil or other objects
during operation.
26. Never clean the appliance with scouring sponges that contain
metal. Metal residues on electrical parts can cause electric
shocks & malfunctions at a future time that the unit is powered.
27. Never place objects made of paper, cardboard, plastic or other
similar materials in the appliance.
28. To prevent smoke, do not overheat your cooking, frying, or
baking utensils; the smoke can be hazardous for small animals
(e.g. birds) with a particularly sensitive respiratory system. We
recommend that you not keep birds in the kitchen.

Caution! During and after operation, the appliance is very
hot! Temperature of accessible surfaces may be high when
the appliance is operating
Never open the housing of the appliance. This can result in electric
shock.
The manufacturer will not be liable in the event of incorrect assembly, improper or incorrect use or if
repairs are carried out by unauthorized third parties.
gENEraL INSTrucTIoNS coNcErNINg ThE aPPLIaNcE
CAUTION!
The appliance becomes very hot during operation, also on the outer sur-
faces. Therefore, be sure to maintain sufficient clearance between the ap-
pliance and all flammable objects; also provide for sufficient ventilation.
Always use pot holders whenever the appliance is in operation or as long
as it is still hot.
1. Your appliance is ideal for daily use in preparing a wide variety of foods.
Since cooking times can vary, we recommend that you keep an eye on the
cooking process and check the food regularly for doneness.
2. Do not use metal tools to clean the housing or Drip Pan , nor to cut foods in
the Drip Pan, as this may cause damage to the non-stick coating..
3. The appliance becomes hot during operation; therefore, always use pot
holders.
4. For safety purposes, the lid of this appliance is designed to be locked in
the open position. When opening the appliance, please ensure that the
lid is lifted COMPLETELY (a full 90 degrees) until the locking mechanism
engages with a loud CLICK and the locking lever
has moved to the UPPER (Locked) position.
To close the lid, FIRST release the lock
by pressing the release lever DOWN into
the unlocked position.

1. Remove all packaging materials from the appliance and ensure that all
parts are complete and undamaged. Keep packaging materials away from
children– danger of suffocation!
2. Wash the removable parts in warm water with mild dishwashing detergent.
Do not use abrasive cleaners or steel wool. Rinse off the parts with clean
water. Dry all parts thoroughly.
3. Wipe off the housing with a damp cloth.
4. Do not immerse the appliance in water or other liquids.
5. The first time you use the appliance, it is possible that there will be some
smoke. This smoke is normal and does not represent a hazard. However, we
recommend A short heating cycle WITHOUT any food in order to burn off
any unintended residues.
6. Place the appliance on a heat-proof, sturdy and level surface.
7. Leave sufficient space between the appliance and walls and other flammable
objects such as curtains.
8. Plug the power cord of the appliance into an electrical outlet (220–240 V ~
AC). Switch the ON/OFF switch to „ON“.
9. Place the function selector switch on top and bottom heat and set the
temperature on both temperature regulators to 230°C. Turn the timer to
15 minutes. Press the „Start/Stop“ button to switch the appliance on.
10. Open the window during this burn-in phase. After so operating the appliance
there may already be visible traces of use; however, these do not affect the
function of the appliance and do not constitute grounds for a complaint.
11. Switch off the appliance by switching the ON/OFF switch to „OFF“ and pull
out the mains plug.
12. Allow the appliance to cool completely.
13. Now your appliance is ready for use.
CAUTION!
The appliance becomes very hot during operation, also on the outer sur-
faces.
5. Always open the lid carefully; escaping hot air could result in burns.
6. We recommend that you use the appliance to keep food warm for a short
time, otherwise the food can dry out.
7. Switch off the appliance by pressing the START/STOP button..
8. When not in use, you must always unplug the appliance from the electrical
outlet.

(NOTE: Numbers refer to Product Diagram, P:6)
i. Grasp Lid Handle(1) and Open lid into locked open position(3), place desired
accessory (Rack(8), Rotisserie Spit(9) / Basket(5) / Skewer(7)) and food into
cooking position.
Ii. Release the lid lock(3) and close the lid
iii. Connect the plug to a suitable wall socket
FOR IMMEDIATE COOKING OPERATION
Step J1: Press START/STOP(A) to switch on the product display / enter STANDBY
mode.
Step J2: Set the FOUR(4) appliance functions(Cooking Time, Temp, Fan Speed,
Rotisserie) as desired using one of 2 methods:
MANUAL: Using the MANUAL(C) keys, set each function as desired.
AUTO: Press on AUTO(B) until the desired program is displayed (NOTE: You
may also adjust the settings for any program by using the MANUAL(C) keys)
Step J3: After completing settings, press on START/STOP(A) to initiate cooking.
Heating will commence immediately, with operating temperature(E1), remaining
time(E2) and Fan Speed(E3) displayed continuously.
FOR TIMER-CONTROLLED(TC) COOKING MODE (1 minute - 12 hrs advance programming)
Step T1: Press START/STOP(A) to switch on the product display.
Step T2: Press TIMER(D) to enter TC Mode, causing the default „30“ minutes
to be display on the TIMER display.
Step T3: Adjust the timer using the TIME CONTROL(C) „+“ and „-“ keys (Press
quickly for small time adjustments, Press & Hold for large time adjustments)
Step T4: Press on AUTO(B) until the desired program is displayed, then adjust
the settings as needed by using the MANUAL(C) keys.
Step T5: Within 4 seconds, the display will revert for press on START/STOP(A)
to initiate cooking.
When the countdown reaches ZERO(O), heating will commence, and operating
temperature(E1), remaining time(E2) and Fan Speed(E3) will be continuously
displayed.

NOTE: When using this appliance in TC Mode, please be mindful of restrictions
described in this manual concerning UNATTENDED USE.
OTHER OPERATING INFORMATION
This appliance has temperature-monitoring devices: It is normal for the
heating element to switch ON and OFF frequently during heating operation.
To cancel settings/cooking at any time, Press on START/STOP(A).
When the set cooking time is complete, the appliance will emit an alarm
signal.
If cooking has been completed/cancelled, please press on START/STOP(A)
to switch the display off and unplug the appliance prior to removing food.
If necessary, it is possible to INTERRUPT cooking (For example, in order
to add / remove or reposition food) without cancelling the active settings.
Opening the lid will cause the heating element to switch off. However,
cooking will resume as soon as the lid is closed once more.
PLEASE DO EXERCISE CARE to avoid contact with hot surfaces while
engaging in handling operations of food or appliance parts / accessories
while still hot. Use the TONGS(6) to facilitate moving and removing.
Overfilling the appliance will result in carbonized surfaces and uneven
cooking, while creating hazards to both the appliance and the user: (i)
A minimal distance should be maintained between the Heating Element /
Fan Assembly Protective Grille(2). (ii) Total mass of food contained in the
appliance SHOULD NOT EXCEED 5 Kgs.
Caution:
The appliance is very hot during and after operation! The lid and the
outer surface can become very hot during operation.

Before cleaning, switch off the appliance and unplug the mains
plug from the electrical outlet.
Allow the appliance to cool completely.
1. Please unplug and allow appliance to completely cool prior to cleaning.
2. The appliance itself is NOT to be immersed in water.
3. ONLY the Drip Pan(4) and all of the accessories [Tongs(6), Rack(8) &
Rotisserie Spit & Forks(9) / Basket(5) / Skewer(7)] are water-immersible &
dishwasher-friendly. These may as necessary be soaked to remove persistent
stains.
4. All other product surfaces (including the housing) may be wiped with a damp
cloth.
5. USE ONLY mild dish detergent as a cleaning agent. DO NOT USE metal or
abrasive substances.
6. Please make sure that ALL parts of the appliance are dry before using it
again. Never use caustic or abrasive cleaners or steel wool, etc.

Our appliances are produced on a high quality level for a long lifetime. Regular maintenance and expert
repairs by our after-sales service can extend the useful life of the appliance. If an appliance is defective
and repair is not possible we ask you to follow the following instructions for disposal. Do not dispose this
appliance together with your standard household waste. Please bring this product to an approved collection
point for recycling of electric and electronic products. By separate collection and disposal of waste products
you help to protect natural resources and ensure, that the product is disposed in an adequate way to protect
health and environment.
We grant a 24 months guarantee, and in case of commercial use a 12 months guarantee, starting from the date of purchase
for any damage demonstrably due to manufacturing defects and when the appliance has been used according to its intended
use. Within the warranty period we will remedy defective materials or workmanship through repair or replacement, at our
option. Our warranty terms apply only to appliances sold in Germany and Austria. For other countries, please contact the re-
sponsible importer. In the event of a claim for remedy of defects, please send the appliance to our after sales service, properly
packaged and postage paid, together with a copy of the automatically generated sales receipt, which must show the date of
purchase, and a description of the defect. If the defect is covered by the warranty, the customer will be reimbursed for the
shipping costs only in Germany and Austria. The warranty does not cover damage from normal wear, improper handling and
failure to comply with the maintenance and care instructions. The warranty is void if repairs or modifications are made to the
appliance by third parties. Any claims of the end consumer vis-à-vis the retailer are not limited by this warranty.
