2- WARNINGS
1 - Not all versions of iOS and Android
are compatible with the app.
We will not be responsible for any issue
resulting from this incompatibility.
2 - Smart kit only supports WPA-PSK/
WPA2-PSK encryption.
Do not use any other type of encryp-
tion.
3 - Make sure that the camera of the
device on which the app is going to
be used is at least a 5 million pixels
camera, in order to be able to read
the QR code.
4 - Due to the different network conditions,
a request time-out may occur.
In this case, it’ll be necessary to repeat
the network conguration procedure.

3- DOWNLOADING AND
INSTALLING THE APP
1 - Open App Storeor Google Playrespec-
tively.
2 - Search the “Olimpia Splendid Split” app.
3 - Download the app.

4- INSTALLING THE SMART
KIT
1 - Remove the protective cap of the smart kit.
2 - Open the air conditioner front panel and insert
the smart kit in its specic slot.
3 - Attach the QR code, supplied with the smart
kit, on the air conditioner side panel, so that
it is easily scannable with your own device.
Alternatively, photograph the QR code with
your own device, in order to scan it afterwards.

This interface is ONLY compat-
ible with the smart kit supplied
by the manufacturer.
5- USER REGISTRATION
- Make sure that the device is connected to a
Wi-Fi router.
Make sure that the Wi-Fi router is connected
to the internet before proceeding with the user
registration and the network conguration.

Create account”.

e-mail and pass-
word, then click on
Registration”.

3 - After performing registration, a conrmation
mail is sent to the entered e-mail address.
View the mail and conrm registration by clicking
on the specic link.
6- NETWORK
CONFIGURATION
It is necessary to make sure that
the Android or iOS device con-
nects solely to the Wi-Fi network
the user wants to congure.

Make sure that the Android or
iOS device Wi-Fi function works
correctly and that the device
automatically reconnects to the
original Wi-Fi network.
When the air conditioner enters
in “AP” (Access Point) mode,
it cannot be controlled by the
remote control.
To enable the remote control, it
is necessary to disconnect from
the network, or to turn the air
conditioner off and then back on.
Alternatively, wait 8 minutes af-
ter which the air conditioner au-
tomatically leaves “AP” mode.

6a- Network conguration from
Android devices:
1 - Make sure that the Android device is connected
to the Wi-Fi network the user wants to use.
If another Wi-Fi network disturbs the congura-
tion process, it is necessary to remove it from
your device.
2 - Disconnect the power cord from the air condi-
tioner.
3 - Reconnect the power cord to the air conditioner,
then press the “led” button on the remote control
seven times within 3 minutes.
4 - When the air conditioner display shows the
writing “AP”, it means that it has entered “AP
mode (Access Point).
For some air conditioner mod-
els, it is not necessary to perform
phase “2” of the conguration.

6b- Network conguration from
iOS devices
1 - Make sure that the iOS device is connected to
the Wi-Fi network the user wants to use.
If another Wi-Fi network disturbs the congura-
tion process, it is necessary to remove it from
your device.
2 - Disconnect the power cord from the air condi-
tioner.
3 - Reconnect the power cord to the air conditioner,
then press the “led” button on the remote control

Once the network conguration
is over, the app noties the end
of the operation on the screen.
Due to the different network
conditions, the device status
could still appear as “ofine”
after conguration.
In this case, update the list of the
devices registered on the app
and make sure they are “online”.
Alternatively, disconnect and
reconnect the air conditioner
power cord.
After a few minutes, the air con-
ditioner will appear as “online”.

7- HOW TO USE THE APP
Before using the app, make sure
that both the device (Android or
iOS) and the air conditioner are
connected to the internet.
To use the app, please observe the following
instructions:
1 - Digit your account
user name and
password.
Click on Sign in
afterwards.
2 - Select the air con-
ditioner that you
want to control with
the app to access
to the main control
interface.

From this screen, the user can check the air
conditioner status (“ONor OFF”), its operation
mode, temperature, the fan speed, etc.
To display all the functions, slide your nger on
the icons bar from left to right (and vice versa).
Some app functions could not
be available on a certain air
conditioner.
Consult the instructions manual
for more information.
