2. GENERALIDADES
Extraiga el aparato de la caja de embalaje.
Colóquelo en posición invertida sobre el
poliestireno. Compruebe que ni el aparato ni
el cable de alimentación se han dañado
durante el transporte. No haga funcionar el
aparato si se encuentra dañado.

3. MONTAJE DE LOS PIES
No ponga el radiador en marcha sin ajustar
los pies en la parte inferior de la unidad
porque puede haber peligro de incendio.
1. Extraiga los pies de la caja de embalaje.
Coloque el radiador en posición invertida
sobre una alfombra o una superficie
suave para no estropear la pintura
2. Coloque los pies en la posición correcta
como se muestra en las figuras 2 y 3.
3. Coloque el radiador en su posición
vertical para el funcionamiento.
4. CONEXIÓN A LA RED ELECTRICA
• Antes de enchufar el radiador a la red,
compruebe que la tensión de la red
eléctrica se corresponde con el valor V
indicado en el aparato y que la toma de
corriente y la línea de alimentación son
adecuadas a los valores.
• CONECTE SOLAMENTE EL RADIADOR
A UN ENCHUFE CON TOMA DE
TIERRA.
• El aparato cumple la Directiva
89/336/CEE, relativa a la compatibilidad
electromagnética.
5. FUNCIONAMIENTO Y UTILIZACION
Encendido
•
Coloque el termostato en la posición
"MÍN" y el interruptor de
encendido/apagado en la posición "0",
luego enchufe el radiador a la red.
• Gire el termostato hasta la posición
"MÁX" y manténgalo en esta posición
hasta que se haya alcanzado la
temperatura ambiente deseada.
• Encienda la unidad colocando el
interruptor en la posición "I", y el
indicador luminoso se encenderá.
• Para apagar el aparato, coloque el
termostato en la posición "MÍN" y el
interruptor de encendido/apagado en la
posición "0", luego desenchufe de la red.
Regulación del termostato
•
Cuando la habitación haya alcanzado la
temperatura deseada, gire lentamente el
termostato a la inversa hasta que se
apague el indicador luminoso (o hasta la
posición en que se produzca un "clic"),
sin pasar más allá. Así, el termostato
regulará la temperatura programada de
manera automática y la mantendrá
constante.
El calentador requiere una limpieza regular
para garantizar un funcionamiento sin
problemas:
• Antes de realizar cualquier operación,
coloque el interruptor de
encendido/apagado en la posición "0",
desenchufe de la red y espere a que se
enfríe.
• El radiador de aceite no requiere un
mantenimiento especial. Es suficiente
quitar el polvo con una bayeta suave y
seca. No utilice detergentes ni productos
abrasivos ni disolventes. De ser
necesario, quite la suciedad acumulada
con la ayuda de un aspirador.

2. GENERAL FEATURES
Remove the appliance from the packaging,
turn upside down and rest on the
polystyrene. Check that neither the
appliance nor the power cable has been
damaged in any way during transportation.
Do not operate the appliance if damaged.

3. FITTING THE FEET
Do not operate the heater without fitting the
feet to the bottom of the unit otherwise it
may result in a fire hazard.
1. Remove the feet from packing. Turn the
radiator upside-down on a rug or a soft
surface in order to prevent damaging the
paint finish.
2. Put the feet into the correct position as
shown in figures 1 and 2.
3. Turn the heater to its upright position for
operation.
4. ELECTRICAL CONECTION
• Before plugging the radiator into the
mains, check that the voltage of your
mains electricity supply corresponds to
the value V indicated on the appliance
and that the socket and power line are
appropriately dimensioned.
• CONNECT YOUR HEATER TO EARTH
PROVIDED SOCKET ONLY.
• The appliance complies with EEC
Directive 89/336, relating to electro-
magnetic compatibility.
5. HOW TO USE IT
Switching on
•
Turn the thermostat to "MIN" and set
ON/OFF switch to "0" position, then plug
the radiator into the main socket.
• Move the thermostat to the highest setting
"MAX" and maintain in this position until
the desired room temperature has been
reached.
• Turn on the unit by setting the power
switch to "I" position, and the power light
will be on.
• To turn the appliance off, turn the
thermostat to "MIN" and set ON/OFF
switch to "0" position, then remove plug
from the wall socket.
Adjusting the thermostat
•
When the room has reached the required
temperature, slowly turn the thermostat
back until the power light goes off (or to
the position marked by a click) and no
further. The set temperature will then be
regulated automatically and kept constant
by the thermostat.
The heater requires regular cleaning to
ensure trouble free operation:
• Before carrying out any operation on the
radiator, set the ON/OFF switch to "0",
unplug from the electric mains and wait
for it to cool.
• The oil-filled electric radiator requires no
particular maintenance. It is sufficient to
remove the dust with a soft, dry cloth.
Never use detergents or abrasive
powders or solvents. If necessary remove
concentrations of dirt using a vacuum
cleaner.

• Never use the radiator near a bath,
shower, basin or swimming pool.
• Never use the radiator to dry damp
garments. Never rest the cable on hot
elements.
• Use the radiator in the vertical position
only.
• If the electric cable has been damaged, it
must be replaced by the manufacturer or
the technical service centre or by a
qualified person so as to avoid all risks.
• When you start the radiator for the first
time, leave it operating at maximum
power for at least two hours. During this
operation, ventilate the room well to
eliminate the "new" smell emanating from
the appliance.
• It is normal for the appliance to emit a
squeaking noise when turned on for the
first time.
• The appliance must never be placed
immediately under a fixed mains socket.
• This radiator is filled with a precise
quantity of oil and repairs which require it
to be opened must be carried out
exclusively by the manufacturer or an
authorised service centre. In the case of
oil leaks, contact the manufacturer or the
authorised service centre.
• Do not use the appliance in rooms with a
base area of less than 5 m
2
.
• The appliance is fitted with a safety
device which will switch off it in case of
accidental overheating. If occur, contact
an authorised service centre.
• Waste removal: When scrapping the
appliance, the suitable waste removal
procedure must be followed. Respect the
legislation on the disposal of oil. For more
information on these subjects, contact the
local authorities.
• The product is for household use only.
• This heater is hot when in use. To avoid
burns and personal injury, do not let bare
skin touch hot surfaces. If provided, use
handles when moving the product.

• IMPORTANT: Never for any reason
cover the appliance during
operation as this could lead to
dangerous overheating.

At the end of its working life,
the product must not be
disposed of as urban waste.
It must be taken to a special
local authority differentiated
waste collection centre or to
a dealer providing this service. Disposing of
a household appliance separately avoids
possible negative consequences for the
environment and health deriving from
inappropriate disposal and enables the
constituent materials to be recovered to
obtain significant savings in energy and
resources.

with a selective collection scheme, the

2. VŠEOBECNÉ INŠTRUKCIE
Vyberte prístroj zo škatule, v ktorej bol
zabalený. Prevráťte ho a položte na polystyrén.
Presvedčte sa, či je prívodný kábel
neporušený a či sa prístroj nepoškodil počas
prepravy. V prípade, že je prístroj poškodený,
nezapínajte ho.

3. MONTÁŽ PODSTAVCOV
Nezapínajte radiátor pred namontovaním
podstavcov, pretože by mohlo dôjsť k
požiaru.
1. Vyberte podstavce z polystyrénového
obalu. Prevráťte radiátor a položte ho na
koberec, alebo na mäkký povrch, aby sa
nepoškodil povrch a farba.
2. Umiestnite podstavce do správnej polohy
tak, ako je uvedené na obrázku 1 a 2.
3. Prevráťte radiátor opätovne do
vertikálnej prevádzkovej polohy.
4. NAPOJENIE NA ELEKTRICKÚ SIEŤ
• Pred použitím radiátora sa presvedčte, či
sa napätie v sieti zhoduje s údajmi,
uvedenými na štítku prístroja a či odber
prúdu a napájanie sú v súlade s
požiadavkami prístroja.
• ZAPOJTE RADIÁTOR LEN DO ZÁSUVKY
S ÚČINNÝM UZEMNENÍM.
• Tento prístroj je v súlade so Smernicou
EHS 89/336 o elektromagnetickej
kompatibilite.
5. PREVÁDZKA PRÍSTROJA A
POUŽITIE
Zapnutie
• Uveďte termostat do polohy "MIN" a
vypínač vyp./zap. do polohy "0", potom
zapojte radiátor do siete.
• Otočte termostat až do polohy "MAX" a
ponechajte ho v tejto polohe, až kým sa v
miestnosti dosiahne požadovaná teplota.
• Zapnite radiátor uvedením vypínača do
polohy "I" a svetelná kotrolka sa rozsvieti.
• Radiátor vypnete otočením termostatu do
polohy "MIN" a vypínača zap./vyp. do
polohy "0", potom vypojte prístroj zo
siete.
Regulovanie termostatom
• Keď sa v miestnosti dosiahne požadovaná
teplota, pomaly otočte termostatom späť
až kým zhasne svetelná kontrolka (alebo
až kým počujete "kliknutie"), ďalej netočte.
V tejto polohe bude termostat
automaticky regulovať nastavenú teplotu
a radiátor bude udržiavať v miestnosti
požadovanú teplotu.
Radiátor je potrebné pravidelne čistiť, aby
