Audio Adjustments
Setting the Tone
To adjust the bass and treble (and
midrange on the six-disc CD system),
press the Audio button or knob (depend-
ing on your audio system) until BASS or
TREB (or MID) is displayed. Press and
hold the up or down arrow or turn the
knob to increase or decrease.
Adjusting the Speakers
To adjust the balance between the right
and left speakers or the fade between
the front and rear speakers, press the
Audio button or knob (depending on
your audio system) until BAL or FADE
is displayed. Press and hold the up or
down arrow or turn the knob to move the
sound right or left and front or rear.
Centering the Tone and Speakers
To adjust both tone and speaker controls
to the center position, end out of the
Audio mode and then press and hold
the Audio button or knob for more than
two seconds. A beep will sound and
CEN or ALL CENTERED will be dis-
played, indicating bass, treble, balance
and fade have been centered.

Radio Data System
The Radio Data System (RDS) has the
capability to:
• Seek only stations broadcasting
selected types of programs
• Receive announcements concerning
local and national emergencies
• Display messages from radio stations
RDS features are available only on FM
stations that broadcast RDS signals.
These features will work only when the
RDS information is available. RDS sta-
tions may provide the time of day, a pro-
gram type (PTY) for current program-
ming and the name of the program
being broadcast.

CONVENIENCE FEATURES
Manual Front Seat Adjustment
To Move the Seats Forward or
Rearward: Lift and hold the bar located
under the front of each seat. Slide the
seat to the desired position and release
the bar. Try to move the seat with your
body to ensure it is locked in place.

Note: CDs with any labels may jam
in the CD player. Label a CD using a
permanent marker. If more than one CD
is inserted into the slot at one time, or if
scratched or damaged CDs are played,
the CD player could be damaged. When
using the CD player, use only CDs in
good condition without added labels;
load one CD at a time; and keep the
CD player and the loading slot free of
foreign materials, liquids and debris.
