Rules of Operation
Power Requirement
and Settings:
Make sure the power setting on the back of your amplifier matches
your input power before connecting your amplifier.
Amplifier Placement:
Choose a place that will support the weight of your amplifier and
that allows you access in the back for cable connections. Your
amplifier dissipates heat through circulation of air around your
unit. The surrounding area must be kept free of obstacles that
would reduce air flow and cooling of your unit. Always place your
amplifier on a hard surface solid surface and allow at least (2-3)
inches of free space around your unit for air movement. 3-4 inches
is desirable on the top of your unit if possible. Also allow
clearance for your wiring and power cords and input signal cords
behind your unit. This will require at least about 6 inches/15 Cm of
clearance.
1. Never unplug your input cables or switch between the RCA or
XLR inputs while your unit is on or immediately after shutting off
2. Never turn your amplifier back on immediately after turning it
off. Wait at least 60 seconds.
3. After your amplifier is in use, always wait 5 minutes before
disconnection or reconnecting your input source cables or
4. Never operate your amplifier in a damp or wet location.
5. Never expose the unit to fluids. If your unit gets wet,
immediately unplug the unit from the wall or power connec
tion and call an Amirra dealer.
6. If your amplifier has been exposed to cold temperatures,
allow your unit to warm up before turning it on.
7. Never apply liquid cleaners directly to you amplifier. (See
Care and maintenance section)
8. Never attempt to open or service your amplifier, if a prob
-
lem occurs contact your Amirra dealer immediately.
9. Never replace a fuse while your amplifier is powered on
and never replace a fuse with a type or value different than
10. Never bypass any fuses with any other device.
11. Always turn the volume down on your preamplifier before
selecting a new input source.

Powering up
your Amplifier
Refer to the following two pages to properly connect the
various inputs and outputs to your amplifier before powering on.
Your Amplifier is powered up when the on/off power button is
pressed on the lower front right side of the amplifier. The blue
ring around your power button as well as the “Amirra Logo” will
light indicating your Amplifier is on. After about 10 seconds you
will hear a distinct click indication that power is ready and will be
sent to your speakers.
High quality professional amplifiers take well over 40-80 hours to
“burn-in” to set the molecular structure of the wire and compo-
nents of your Amplifier. The sound quality will continue to
improve as you increase your initial play time.
“click”“click”“click”
10 second later you will hear a “click” of a relay as power
before modifiying your input wiring.

speaker posts. Tighten these firmly by hand. Don’t over

for you power source and the amplifier is set for the correct
input voltage. i.e. (220Volts or 115 Volts).

could cause damage to your amplifier.
