BEFORE USE
Thank you for purchasing MF-17B Series Boxing robot. This system is extremely versatile and may be
used by beginners and pros alike. In order for you to make the best use of your system and to operate
safely, please read this manual carefully. If you have any difficulties while using your system, please
consult the manual, our online Frequently Asked Questions (on the web pages referenced below), your
product dealer, or MINIROBOT Service Center. Due to unforeseen changes in production procedures, the
information contained in this manual is subject to change without notice.

• A/S regulation
Only when the product is faulty after normal operation within the warranty period, we will repair the
product for free based on our regulations. The repair is paid for by the consumer when the damage is
due to use in improper ways or beyond the warranty period.
• Warranty regulation
MINIROBOT guarantees this product to be free from defects in both material and workmanship for 1 year
period from the date of purchase. During that period, we will repair or replace, at our option, any product
that does not meet these standards.
You will be required to provide proof of purchase date (receipt or invoice). This warranty does not cover
damage due to improper installation, operation, maintenance, or attempted repair by anyone other than
an authorized MINIROBOT service center. In no case shall MINIROBOT's liability exceed the original
cost of the purchased product and will not cover consequential, incidental or collateral damage.
MINIROBOT reserve the right to inspect any and all equipment involved in a warranty claim. Repair or
replacement decisions are at the sole discretion of MINIROBOT. Further MINIROBOT reserves the right
to change or modify this warranty without notice.

OPERATING SAFETY
This is a sophisticated product and NOT a toy. It must be operated with caution and common sense and
requires some basic mechanical ability. Failure to operate this product in a safe and responsible manner
could result in injury or damage to the product or other property. This product is not intended for use by
children without direct adult supervision. Do not attempt disassembly, use with incompatible components or
augment product in any way without the approval of MINIROBOT Corp. This manual contains instructions
for safety, operation and maintenance. It is essential to read and follow all the instructions and warnings in
the manual, prior to assembly, setup or use, in order to operate correctly and avoid damage or serious
injury.
• Do not place the robot on a high location such as on top of a table or desk and always operate the robot
on the ground, if the robot is damaged due to a fall, it will be ineligible for free repair.
• Do not operate or store it in under direct sunlight.
• Do not operate or store it near open flames or in humid environments.
• Do not modify any parts of the robot
• Keep the robot away from your body, especially form your face.
• Keep the robot or its parts away from children.
• Be careful not to get your finger be caught between the joints.
• Be careful while the robot is moving since robot frame can hurt your body skin.
• Be sure to power off the robot and disconnect the battery from the robot when there is a problem
with robot’s motion.
• Be sure to unplug the charger when it is not is use.
• Only to use the recommended charger when charging the battery of the robot
• Only operate the robot indoors.
• The product is not waterproof so be cautious when handling near water.
• The radio system is affected by signal environment and the electronic jamming signals can cause
disorientation and loss of control of the robot.
• The joints of the robot and the gears inside the servo are susceptible to wear, after a period of time, the
backlash of the robot might be increased, especially if excessive load is applied.
NOTICE
• Please remember that the motions of robot can be different from what you predicted. In this case,
there can be possibility for unexpected accident.
• You must be physically and mentally healthy.
• You must secure enough space before you start the operation.
• Always be aware of possibility of fire since the power source of the robot is electricity.
• Check the wires whether the sheath has peeled off or not.
• Disconnecting or remodeling connector and code can be cause of fire.
• Do not place the robot with other conductors.
• Be careful not to peel the sheath of the connector’s pin.
• The servo in the kit is consumable. Therefore, there can be performance degradation of the
servo after it’s used for a long time.
• Robot must be placed on a hard and flat place.
• Turn on the power of the robot only when it’s on the ground.
• Free A/S will not be provided for any damage from the poor assembly.
• Be sure to set the zero-point of robots through our software, RoboBASIC.
• It takes about an hour to fully charge the robot, and the robot runs about 20~30min after it’s fully
charged.
• Red light on the charger means the battery is being charged. Green light on the charger means
the battery is fully charged.

IMPORTANT BATTERY INFORMATION
• Do not dispose of batteries in fire. Batteries may explode or leak.
• Batteries must be inserted with the correct polarity or the robot will not work.
• Do not short circuit battery terminals or battery contacts.
• When power batteries grow weak, robot will move and walk very slowly and it will not stand up by itself
when it falls down, when this occurs, power off the robot and charge the power battery.
• Boxing robot is running by NiMH battery. NiMH battery and charger are included in the box.
• If the power battery would be overheated while it’s being charged, you must disconnect the
battery from the charger immediately and place it in a cool and dry place.
• Metal Fighter uses 6V-NiMH 1500mAh battery, and it shouldn't be operated with other type of
battery.

OPERATING INSTRUCTION
1. Battery charging & exchanging
1) Battery Charging
Connect the charger on the back of the robot then charging is started.
2) Battery Exchanging
You can change the battery by loosening the insert bolt at the groin.

2. Power
- Turn on the power of robot
• The power switch is on the back of robot
• Battery checker is installed in the back of robot, be sure that LED indicator is on the right side
If the indicator turns red on the left side, the battery should be charged.

Boxing robot is always operated in the overloaded environment so that the operator should control the
operating time
We strongly recommend that the operator should keep 248 regulation
5. Zero point setup
Zero point setup is VERY IMPORTANAT to keep the robot in good condition so it should be checked
regularly and set when necessary.
