OPERATING SAFETY
This is a sophisticated product and NOT a toy. It must be operated with caution and common sense and
requires some basic mechanical ability. Failure to operate this product in a safe and responsible manner
could result in injury or damage to the product or other property. This product is not intended for use by
children without direct adult supervision. Do not attempt disassembly, use with incompatible components or
augment product in any way without the approval of MINIROBOT Corp. This manual contains instructions
for safety, operation and maintenance. It is essential to read and follow all the instructions and warnings in
the manual, prior to assembly, setup or use, in order to operate correctly and avoid damage or serious
injury.
• Do not place the robot on a high location such as on top of a table or desk and always operate the robot
on the ground, if the robot is damaged due to a fall, it will be ineligible for free repair.
• Do not operate or store it in under direct sunlight.
• Do not operate or store it near open flames or in humid environments.
• Do not modify any parts of the robot
• Keep the robot away from your body, especially form your face.
• Keep the robot or its parts away from children.
• Be careful not to get your finger be caught between the joints.
• Be careful while the robot is moving since robot frame can hurt your body skin.
• Be sure to power off the robot and disconnect the battery from the robot when there is a problem
with robot’s motion.
• Be sure to unplug the charger when it is not is use.
• Only to use the recommended charger when charging the battery of the robot
• Only operate the robot indoors.
• The product is not waterproof so be cautious when handling near water.
• The radio system is affected by signal environment and the electronic jamming signals can cause
disorientation and loss of control of the robot.
• The joints of the robot and the gears inside the servo are susceptible to wear, after a period of time, the
backlash of the robot might be increased, especially if excessive load is applied.
NOTICE
• Please remember that the motions of robot can be different from what you predicted. In this case,
there can be possibility for unexpected accident.
• You must be physically and mentally healthy.
• You must secure enough space before you start the operation.
• Always be aware of possibility of fire since the power source of the robot is electricity.
• Check the wires whether the sheath has peeled off or not.
• Disconnecting or remodeling connector and code can be cause of fire.
• Do not place the robot with other conductors.
• Be careful not to peel the sheath of the connector’s pin.
• The servo in the kit is consumable. Therefore, there can be performance degradation of the
servo after it’s used for a long time.
• Robot must be placed on a hard and flat place.
• Turn on the power of the robot only when it’s on the ground.
• Free A/S will not be provided for any damage from the poor assembly.
• Be sure to set the zero-point of robots through our software, RoboBASIC.
• It takes about an hour to fully charge the robot, and the robot runs about 20~30min after it’s fully
charged.
• Red light on the charger means the battery is being charged. Green light on the charger means
the battery is fully charged.
